"Sunrise" crew: from the establishment of the group to the stage
On August 23, Beijing Renyi's new typesetting "Sunrise" held a media meeting, and director Feng Yuanzheng, with starring Yu Zhen, Lu Lu, Yang Mingxin, Lei Jia and other appearances in the media. With a new lineup and a new interpretation, the new version of "Sunrise" will open its first performance at the newly completed Beijing International Drama Center on the evening of September 2 to welcome the audience in the capital.

In the history of Beijing Renyi, there have been four editions of "Sunrise", which once again re-arranged this well-known work and used it to open a new theater, because it was not only Mr. Cao Yu's masterpiece, but also the opening play after the completion of the Capital Theater in the 1950s. In order to pay tribute to Mr. Cao Yu, the old director of Renyi and the famous playwright, the main theater in the Beijing International Theater Center was named Cao Yu Theater. One classic, two theaters, cao yu's work "Sunrise" once again opened the curtain of the new theater, allowing the classic to travel through time and space, which is not only to express the continuous search of human art for art, but also to give the classic a sustainable life.

Bring the classic to life
Modern music, a stage of changing light and shadow, the opening and ending of different traditional narrative methods, and even the most familiar characters have been given new actions and tasks - this new version of "Sunrise" will bring many unexpected surprises to the audience. "What's new is not just the form on stage, but more in the content. We strive to be faithful to the original, excavate the original, and then express the modern sense, so that the younger generation of audiences can more easily resonate. Director Feng Yuanzheng introduced. In this classic new rehearsal, the crew retrieved the abridged parts of the original performances in the original versions of Mr. Cao Yu's 80,000-word script, strengthened the expression of some characters, reinterpreted the "last straw" that crushed Chen Bailu, and looked forward to communicating with the current audience. The projection is used to display the two performance areas before and after the audience at the same time, so that the characters of different time and space meet on the stage, and fully display the mental journey of the characters, which is a multi-time and multi-dimensional stage exploration.

All young actors are used to create a classic drama, which in the eyes of director Feng Yuanzheng, although it looks a bit "risky", it is precisely a kind of courage. "When you see good seedlings, you have to give them a chance." Sooner or later, these young people will have to pick up the talents in the future, and they may as well be a little earlier. "Feng Yuanzheng believes that this new theater and new stage provide an opportunity for newcomers." I put a lot of pressure on them and made a lot of demands, so everyone worked hard. "Unlike in the past, the new version of "Sunrise" has started from the basic skills training every day after the establishment of the group. Director Feng Yuanzheng led the young actors to warm up and practice vocalization every day, from physical training to spitting out words and returning sounds, while solidifying basic skills, while figuring out accurate performance methods. "For young actors, the most important thing is to play characters on stage, not symbolized, but characterized." This time, the audience will see the once familiar characters being given new life on the stage, thus opening a new theatrical experience.

The show was officially opened on August 24 and was performed seven times from September 2 to September 9. On September 2nd, the Caoyu Theater of Beijing International Theatre Center will unveil the first veil, and the audience will see the new theater, the new "Sunrise" and the new generation of the new collision, and feel the eternal charm of the Beijing Renyi Stage classic.
