According to the Chengdu cover news, "The Count of Monte Cristo" is a novel created by the French writer Alexandre Dumas, first published in 1844-1846, later translated into dozens of languages and published, and has been made into films in France and the United States.

The original novel tells the story of France in the early 19th century, the male protagonist was framed, unjustly imprisoned for 14 years, he later escaped from the island, was told the secret of the treasure of Mount Kiddu by the old prisoners, and then changed his identity to become the "Count of Monte Cristo", and took revenge on the people who framed him. The original novel takes the promotion of good and punishment of evil and revenge as the main line, the plot is ups and downs, the vignettes are compact and wonderful but not noisy, and the plot is bizarre but does not violate the reality of life. For this reason, the Count of Monte Cristo is recognized as a model of popular fiction.

Feng Delun, an actor by training, has developed in Hollywood in recent years, and collaborated with his friend Wu Yanzu to shoot the American drama "Into the Badlands", which won the new drama ratings quarterly championship. In 2019, Von der Leyen became the first Chinese director to independently direct a Netflix American drama with the kung fu drama "Five Elements Assassin". But he only works as a producer and director, and does not act.

Taipei ETtoday reported that Feng Delun once admitted that there is a problem of cultural differences in Filming in Hollywood, "Foreigners are not used to our working methods, they will design a general action flow in advance, let the action director shoot a paragraph for the director to see, in the formal shooting, the photographer shoots a few shots from different angles, and then goes back to cut." But our martial arts instructor is a little improvised, and we'll keep shooting until it's good. Why do they think they spend so much time? You need to explain, cut it out so they can see the difference. This communication process is quite painful." (End)
