During his visit to Tripura on Feb. 13, Deb said during a visit to Tripura prabhup on February 13 that the BJP would assist neighboring countries in setting up party departments and winning elections after winning local elections in India, According to Indian media outlet The Wire.

"When we were talking at the State Guest House, the Bharatiya Janata Party's Secretary-General for the Northeast Region, Ajay Ahmed Ahmed, was appointed to the BJP. Ajay Jamwal said the Bharatiya Janata Party had formed governments in several Indian states. Now Sri Lanka and Nepal are [far away] from India, shah said. We have to expand the BJP there and win elections there. ”

He further asked the BJP's top leadership, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to respond.
