1. Brokeback Mountain

Adapted from the short story of the same name by Anne Prussia, the film tells the story of a complex love relationship between two men in Wyoming, USA, from 1963 to 1981.
On a brilliant summer day in 1963, young cowboy Jack Twester (Jack Gyllenhaal) and Ennis Delma (Heath Ledger) meet over shepherding sheep from both rancher Joe Aguir (Randy Quaid).
