On May 20, 1949, Xi'an was liberated. The ancient city of Xi'an was full of red flags and firecrackers. The next day, the eldest sister, Yang Zhengkun, returned to Xi'an from Yan'an to participate in the work of the Military Control Commission. As soon as she arrived home, Yang Zhenghan and Yang Zhenglu sisters rushed to touch and touch the red five-pointed star on their sister's hat, wiped and wiped, so envious! Yang Zhenglu suddenly understood that the eldest brother and eldest sister were all Communist Party members. One day in December 1949, Yang Zhenglu was preparing to speak at a conference held at the school, when suddenly her family sent someone to ask her to go back. She understood that the father she had missed day and night was gone. After waiting for 13 years, she realized that her hopes had been disappointed, and her dear father would never come back. She and her sisters knelt in front of her father's spiritual hall and cried bitterly, not believing that his father was gone. But what can be done if you don't believe it? Dad will never come back. At the successive mourning meetings held in the future, Yang Zhenglu learned that his mother died in Xifeng Prison, that his father and brother were stabbed to death by Kuomintang agents with knives, and that even yang Zhengui, a little sister who was born in prison and had never seen the outside world, was also killed. The executioner of all evil! Beastly cruelty! Yang Zhenglu burst into tears. Dad's patriotic spirit of fighting for the liberation of the Chinese nation deeply shook Yang Zhenglu's soul. She was deeply touched by her mother's noble sentiment of going to prison and sacrificing with her father for the sake of common faith. She is determined to learn from her parents, realize their ideals, and strive to build a prosperous and strong motherland.
After the school opened in the fall of 1950, Xi'an Girls' High School transferred another teacher. Her name is Li Yan, she is from Yan'an, and she serves as secretary and secretary of the party branch. At that time, the school party organization was not fully disclosed. With the care and help of the school leaders and teacher Li Yan, Yang Zhenglu made rapid progress in his thinking, had great enthusiasm for social work, and was elected as the general secretary of the school league. In order to do a good job in the ideological and organizational construction of the Communist Youth League organization, she actively relied on the party organization, united the vast number of league members, and enthusiastically helped the backward students. Yang Zhenglu, who is only 14 years old, often does not care to go home, actively organizes group day activities, participates in social surveys and reads. She especially admired the tenacious and hard-working spirit of Paul Kochakin, and also admired the noble qualities of China's Paul Wu Yunduo who dedicated everything to the party, and was determined to be a person like them who did not waste his years.
In the autumn of 1950, the flames of the US invasion of Korea burned to the banks of the Yalu River, and a vigorous campaign to resist US aggression and aid Korea was set off throughout the country. In December 1950, the "Participation in Military Cadre Schools" campaign was set off among college and primary school students across the country, and the Enrollment Committee of military cadre schools was established in Xi'an. Yang Zhenglu, who had just turned 14, not only applied, but also shouted loudly at the meeting: "I want to participate in the military academy to learn skills and avenge the tragic murder of my father, mother, brother and sister!" Xinhua News Agency reported the news from Xi'an to the whole country on the 10th of that month, and many major newspapers also published it in full.
In 1951, in order to consolidate the people's democratic dictatorship, a campaign to suppress counter-revolution was launched throughout the country. Yang Zhenglu actively participated in this movement. At the 10,000-person rally held in Xi'an to mobilize the rebels, she tearfully exposed the massacre of US and Chiang Kai-shek agents at the "Sino-US Cooperation Institute" and angrily told the story of the killing of four parents and brothers and sisters in captivity. The sound of her accusations was bloody and tearful, and it was very shaky among the people and students of the city. At this time, Yang Zhenglu was no longer a girl who could only shed tears, but a young league member who knew right from wrong and loved the Communist Party and the people under the party's education. She has been able to link the suffering of the family with the suffering of the whole country, the hatred of the family with the hatred of the whole class, and is no longer limited to the suffering and gain of the individual. Although she was only 15 years old, she grew rapidly in the ranks of the revolution. On May Fourth Youth Day in 1951, the Youth League Municipal Committee awarded her the honorary title of "Advanced League Cadre" at the commendation meeting of youth league cadres.
In school, her thinking and academics are growing day by day. Her love for the motherland and love for nature is rising day by day. In July 1954, she wrote an article entitled "I want to be a sharp soldier of the industrialization of the motherland" and published it in Shaanxi Daily. She said: "I want to be a pioneer of the industrialization of the motherland, and I envy the exploration team members who work in the barren mountains and remote wilderness, they cut through thorns and thorns, and work hard in the most remote and desolate places where there is even no humanity." Behind them, huge factories and towering chimneys were built. Without them, industry would have no food; without them, the ever-changing nature would always be a mystery. I am willing to go with them to explore the secrets of nature and to find the rich treasures hidden under the motherland. ”
After graduation, Yang Zhenglu resolutely chose Xinjiang. My father once wrote a poem: "The mountains and rivers in the northwest are high and long, and how can a boy miss his hometown?" The back wave of the Yellow River pushes the front wave, jump on the wave head and do a game. She used this to encourage herself.
The distance from Xi'an to Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang, is more than 3,000 kilometers. On the morning of May 15, 1955, Yang Zhenglu, Xie Hong, Yang Tiantai, Chen Shuwen, Hao Lin and 29 other college graduates boarded the westbound train. When the train started, their fiery hearts were beating fiercely with the rotation of the wheels, and this group of like-minded people finally walked together and fulfilled the vows of "going to the frontier", "going to the hardest place", and "going to the place where the motherland needs it most".
After arriving in Urumqi, Yang Zhenglu and his colleague Chen Shuwen took a two-day caravan ride to the first work site at 12:00 p.m. on June 4, the Anjihai 4/55 Field Exploration Team. The captain Fan Chengyi warmly received them and sent the team members to set up a small tent for them at the foot of a small mountain, which was considered to be a "home". The Anjihai area is on the southern edge of the Junggar Basin, on one side is mountainous, on the other side is the Gobi, there is a long-dry river channel in the middle, very desolate, tens of kilometers in radius can not see a single family, wolves are infested, the task of the exploration team led by Fan Chenglong is to conduct a detailed geological survey of the new tertiary Anjihai structure on the southern edge of the Tianshan Mountains for 1/25,000.
In June of the same year, the party committee of the Xinjiang Petroleum Administration held its first party member congress, and Yang Zhenglu was the youngest party member representative. She also attended the first Congress of the Communist Youth League of the Petroleum Administration and was elected as a member of the Youth League Committee of the Bureau.
In 1957, the Geological Survey Division of the Xinjiang Petroleum Administration set up several brigades to plan a comprehensive exploration around the Dzungar Basin. The Qitai Geological Brigade in the eastern part of the Junggar Basin came into being. Because the southern foothills of Mount Kramer have a good mountainous formation and a variety of geological formation types, it is a promising oily area, and the brigade will focus on the exploration of the Kramer area. Yang Zhenglu was transferred to the 117 geological exploration team at this time. After two years of training after graduating from college, Yang Zhenglu has become a more mature geological worker. At the end of 1957, she was appointed as the leader of the exploration team and formed the 106 geological field exploration team. The Xinjiang Petroleum Geological Survey issued a mission statement to the 106 team led by Yang Zhenglu, asking them to complete the detailed inspection of the Kramei region in the eastern part of the Junggar Basin as designed.
The 106 Petroleum Geological Exploration Team led by Yang Zhenglu consists of 12 staff members, including drivers, cooks and temporary workers, and because most of them are female comrades, people call this team a "women's team".
The Gobi Desert is most windy sand, and the least is water. Water is indispensable to people, without water there is no life, the exploration team members have a deep understanding of this. There are three treasures for field exploration: a geological hammer, a geological bag and a kettle. In the Great Leap Forward era when you were catching up, the exploration team members all got up at 4 o'clock. Under normal circumstances, the team members can only be assigned a tea tank of water to wash their faces and brush their teeth, and they have to carry a large kettle containing three or four kilograms when they go out of work. On the Gobi Desert, the noonday sun burned overhead like a ball of fire, and the air half a foot above the ground steamed with ripples of heat, and the heat of people, the desire to drink water, was indescribable in words. Dry mouth, cracked mouth, nosebleeds are common occurrences. Once, Yang Zhenglu took the intern to work; the weather was particularly hot, the temperature was as high as 40 degrees, and before noon, the 17-year-old intern drank all the water in his pot. At lunchtime, Yang Zhenglu gave his own water to the interns to drink, and said that women can't die without drinking water for three days, and men will die of thirst if they don't drink water for a day. As a result, on the way back to the station, Yang Zhenglu had a dry mouth and a lot of nosebleeds. After walking for more than ten kilometers, I encountered a dirty puddle of water, floating with wild animal droppings, swimming with small red insects, Yang Zhenglu's eyebrows were not wrinkled, and he was holding water in his hands to drink. The intern cried with regret, muttering that the captain lied to people, and the captain said blindly, people are all the same, and there are women who are not thirsty.
In order to speed up the exploration, Yang Zhenglu divided the two groups into three groups, and divided the three groups into four groups. Although the hardships and dangers, after four months of work, the geological detailed inspection of 1950 square kilometers was finally completed, the total thickness of the measured profile was 16550 meters, the detailed geological points were 3434, the detailed structure was 56, 660 important specimens were obtained, and 21 seven kinds of maps depicting geology, actual data, comprehensive columnar profile, structure, formation comparison, cylindrical section and arch profile were depicted. This geological map, these tens of millions of data condensed the blood, sweat, wisdom and strength of Yang Zhenglu and the geological team members, and condensed their ideals, ambitions and lives.
At the report defense meeting, Yang Zhenglu answered various questions confidently in front of the petroleum geology experts. The experts were impressed by the reply and agreed: "The biggest contribution of team 106 is to modify the division of the Caramei Carboniferous and Permian, provide rich information on the Permian phase transition, and show the long-term prospect of oil and gas. Yang Zhenglu and his fiancé Xie Hong discussed and got married after completing the exploration mission in the Beautiful Area of Kra. But for the sake of the oil business, they once again postponed the marriage. Yang Zhenglu reported a request for a new task. The leaders approved them to continue to conduct 1/100,000 geological survey exploration in the Santang Lake Basin to the east.
In the middle of the Santang Lake basin is Santanghu Township, centered on the township, and there are several villages mainly engaged in animal husbandry, such as Shangtang, Zhongtang, Xiatang and Naomaohu. The village is inhabited mostly by Ethnic Kazakhs and Uighurs. Whenever the 106 team rested in the settlement, adults and children liked to go to the exploration team's station to party, wrestling, tug-of-war, playing volleyball, and the village seemed to be alive. The team members helped the compatriots to make shuttle firewood, and the villagers did something delicious, but also asked the team members to taste, and they established a deep relationship between them. One day, the driver sent the staff to the exploration site more than 20 kilometers away to work, and a village chief in Santanghu Township rode a horse to say that a woman in their village had difficulty giving birth and requested that it be taken to the Balikun County Hospital by car. The driver is embarrassed, the exploration team members have to run dozens of kilometers of measurement tasks every day, there is no car, captain Yang what do they do? Yang Zhenglu said without hesitation: "It is important to save people, you can rest assured to go." The Kazakh women were safe, and Yang Zhenglu and her team members were already in the middle of the night when they returned to the station with their tired bodies after completing their work tasks.
On the morning of September 25, 1958, the wind was clear, which was rarely good weather in months. The 106 geological exploration team that completed the mission was ready to move from Naomao Lake to Shangtang Camp. Yang Zhenglu asked everyone to move, and he had to take a group to an area 30 kilometers away to do the final work. The hunky Zhang Guangzhi volunteered to go. He used to work as a translator for Soviet experts, and after the experts withdrew, they came to the 106 team to engage in geology, and Yang Zhenglu often learned Russian with him, learned from each other, and cooperated very well. Yang Zhenglu knew that Zhang Guangzhi had been engaged in field work for a long time, suffered from severe arthritis, and often had leg pain, so he did not intend to let him stay. But Zhang Guangzhi repeatedly pleaded, emphasizing that he had strong endurance and promised to complete the task, and Yang Zhenglu nodded in agreement.
At noon on September 25, Yang Zhenglu and Zhang Guangzhi became windy when they completed the last exploration site. The wind was getting stronger and stronger. The two of them hid behind a sand dune and tried to wait for the wind to turn down. I didn't expect the wind speed to decrease, but it snowed heavily. Unprepared, they were suddenly frozen and shivering. Yang Zhenglu wrapped his overalls three times with an oil rope. Zhang Guangzhi suffered from sudden cold rheumatoid arthritis, and his legs and knees were like being sealed with lead, and he could not move a step.
The snow is getting heavier and the air is getting colder. The sky slowly turned from white to gray, from gray to black, and darkness engulfed them. Yang Zhenglu said: Guangzhi, do you know the situation of Vice Chairman Zhu De's inspection of Karamay a few days ago? I listened to Liu Dezhong's remarks, and Vice Chairman Zhu De was very happy when he inspected Karamay, and said that the hope of PetroChina is here for us!" Yang Zhenglu touched the geological map hidden in his chest and said to Zhang Guangzhi, "Let's sing the 'Karamay Song'!" She sang a sentence, and Zhang Guangzhi did not harmonize. She was busy pushing Zhang Guangzhi next to her. Zhang Guangzhi was already asleep. Don't dare to sleep! She pushed her comrade-in-arms hard, unable to move, touching her heart and still hot, busy dragging Zhang Guangzhi forward. At this time, the cold wind rolled the snowflakes, whistling, rolling, covering the sky. The whole world became chaotic. Yang Zhenglu wanted to go back alive with his comrades-in-arms. She had the hope of survival in her heart and wanted to live and work for the party. Yang Zhenglu dragged Zhang Guangzhi hard, but he couldn't really drag it, so he stopped to catch his breath and drag it again. Gradually her hands froze and she didn't listen at all. Her feet were frozen, and she couldn't take a step when she wanted to move. Yang Zhenglu, who had been fighting the blizzard for more than ten hours, fell to the ground exhausted and could not stand up. She crawled forward in the snow, crawling and crawling, and I don't know how long it took, but she didn't have any strength. At the age of 22, Yang Zhenglu sacrificed herself, and she did not leave any amazing achievements, but her self-improvement and the arrogance of building the motherland were left to the people; she did not see the scene of the virgin land she had cultivated, but the "tent ditch", "wild boar ditch", "West Big Ditch", "Colorful Bay", "Burning Mountain", and the "Zhenglu diagonal back" and "Guangzhi diagonal back" named after her sacrifice kept coming from the good news. She will look with a smile as these places become oil fields, become the rising stars of China's oil industry, rising from the horizon in the eastern part of the Junggar Basin.
