Gao Shen, born in 1935. He has loved literature all his life, and as a Hui writer, he has made outstanding contributions to the cause of Chinese ethnic minority literature. He is the author of the poetry collection "Selected Poems of Gao Shen", "Love of the Desert", "The Long Road", "Looking for Yourself", the collection of essays and essays "Selected Essays on Gao Shen Essays", "The Good Life of mediocre People", "That Green Meadow", "Don't Read the Book of Talents", "That Faint White Cloud", the novel "Military Soul" and so on. He has served as an honorary member of the Chinese Writers Association, an advisor to the Liaoning Provincial Writers Association, a former vice chairman of the Jinzhou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the chairman of the Jinzhou Municipal Federation of Literature, the vice chairman of the Ningxia Writers Association, the editor-in-chief of Shuofang, the vice president of the Chinese Ethnic Minority Literature Society, and the editorial board of Ethnic Literature. His works have won several national ethnic minority literary creation "Horse Award".
December 13 this year marks the third anniversary of Gao Shen's death. With the support of the Publicity Department of the Municipal Party Committee, this donation activity aims to retain the profound spiritual wealth of famous local writers in Jinzhou, who have an important position, respect and admiration in the Chinese literary scene, learn from cultural celebrities with both virtue and art, and pay tribute to the classics. At the donation ceremony, Gao Yong and Gao Xiaoli, children of Gao Shen, donated "The Essence of Advanced Works" to the Municipal Library and 9 university libraries in our city, so that their father's works could be "settled" in the major libraries in their hometowns. The person in charge of the municipal library said that these documents will be well preserved and used, the maximum value of the literature resources will be brought into play, and a powerful service will be provided for the economic development and cultural undertakings of Jinzhou.
After the ceremony, more than 20 writers, critics representatives and special guests in our city were full of respect and gratitude for the profound, and held discussions from various angles such as the contribution of the high and profound to Chinese literature, the harvest in their own exchanges with the profound, and the profound feelings of home and country, and comprehensively reflected on the profoundness.
