Why the song uses dialect nursery rhymes, lyricist Yu Xiaoyan said: "Pingtan dialect belongs to the Fuzhou language family, and it is very distinctive for singing. 'Tangpu people' refers to men, Pingtan is born to the sea, Pingtan men mainly rely on going to the sea to make a living, and in pingtan customs, starting a house, giving birth to a baby, and pleasing a wife are all major events in life. "I grew up in Pingtan, picking snails by the sea, picking grass in the casuarina field, and singing Pingtan songs when sheding cattle, so this time I specially injected island elements when composing music." LeFeng graduated from the Fuzhou Cultural and Educational Vocational Secondary School Music Class in the late 1980s, and in the dilemma between the admission of the Music Department of Xiamen University and the recruitment notice of the Military Cultural and Labor Corps, he resolutely chose to seek art from the military. After more than 20 years of military career, lefeng devoted himself to military bands and military literary and artistic creations, and his works were deeply loved by officers and soldiers, and now he works in the provincial organs, often using his personal hobbies to create songs.
