China's self-confidence has a very rich connotation of the new era. In essence, China's self-confidence is the subjective force of enriching the people and strengthening the country, and this subjective force should be a continuous and strong creativity to promote the development of the cause, overcome difficulties and obstacles, and create a miracle on earth. China's self-confidence is not born out of thin air, but is built and radiated in the benign interaction and creation of theory and practice. To this end, it is necessary to better strengthen the "four self-confidences" in the inevitability of the Chinese road, the scientific nature of Chinese theory, the sun-innovation of Chinese culture, and the superiority of the Chinese system.
Professor Wang Gonglong, vice president of the Shanghai Society for Scientific Socialism and executive dean of the Marxist College of the Party School of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, pointed out that our high self-confidence comes from many aspects, one of which cannot be ignored, that is, we are actively and actively carrying out a great struggle with many new historical characteristics. The great struggle in the new era is not imagined out of thin air, but is rooted in the land of China in the new era and is based on the movement of social contradictions. This determines the new historical form of the new great struggle, which is certainly not a stormy struggle, a class movement with class struggle as the program, and at the same time not a large-scale mode of struggle for mass mobilization, a weakening of economic construction as the central task, and still less an international and domestic tension and confrontation.
