Within a few years, his wife died, and Fan Jinghe was only 5 years old. Distressed by the early death of his sister, Fan Jinghe's uncle took him with him and taught him martial arts himself. The care of his uncle made Fan Jinghe somewhat make up for some of the shortcomings of not having his mother's care.
But the blessings are incomparable, and the misfortunes are not alone. Before Fan Jinghe could fully recover from the pain of his mother's death, Fan Changtai was beaten to death by the bully in the town. Fan Jinghe, who was only 12 years old, looked at his father's bruised face and covered in blood, and he was eager to tear apart his enemies immediately. Hateful that bully is powerful, the Fan family can't help it. The revenge of killing his father was like a bloody barb, deeply rooted in Fan Jinghe's heart.
Although the fate was bumpy, Fan Jinghe's studies were not delayed at all. He was very studious and intelligent. In addition to martial arts, he also has a different love for poetry. Whenever I pick up a book, I don't want to put it down. At the age of only 15, Fan Jinghe was admitted to Mianyang Nanshan Normal School with the first place. In the spring of 1928, the Ancestral Court of Shaolin was burned down by the warlord Shi Yousan, and a group of monks were displaced. Master Zhenxu and his brothers all the way to the relationship, relying on performance skills to raise funds to save the people. Fan Wuyi thought about this simple, he was a lonely man, and he was a monk. If it is already a great blessing to become a Shaolin disciple, what is there to hesitate about? In order to show his piety, Fan Wuyi imitated the ancient method of burning lamps for the Buddha, bathing and fasting, and burning 32 oil lamps on his chest. Master Zhenxu thanked him for his sincerity and took him under his wing.
Master Zhenxu is worthy of being a Shaolin master, and "Tong Zi Gong", "Two Finger Zen", "Refining Qi", and "Practicing QiHua Shen" are all rare Shaolin stunts. In addition to practicing martial arts with the senior monks, he exchanged Buddhist culture with some Zen masters, which was quite experienced. In just three or four years, he successively served as the abbot of the Qiqu Mountain Grand Temple, the chairman of the Zizhang County Buddhist Association, and other positions, and was well-known in the local generation.
In 1946, Master Hai Lantern received an invitation from Shaolin to become a professor of traditional Chinese arts. The Original Shaolin Temple, which was burned down by the warlords, was rebuilt, and it was urgent to recruit talents to regain its glory. Master Hai Lantern not only knows Shaolin martial arts, but also has a lot of influence, and he is the most suitable candidate.
Although he has studied with Shaolin for many years, it is not formal after all, so the Sea Lantern Master attaches great importance to the invitation from the Shaolin official. During his teaching, master Hai Lantern also entered the Dharma Patriarch's wall cave to sit in meditation and meditate for seven days and seven nights, which was a sensation.
In 1949, the founding of New China was in ruins, and various national activities and events gradually increased. With his superb martial arts, Master Hai Lantern has won many awards in provincial and municipal martial arts and sports events. He performed stunts such as two-finger Zen, Tong Zi Gong, plum blossom pile, and iron cloth shirt in the Jiangnan area, all of which were amazing and refreshing.
However, at this time, the master of the sea lantern can only be regarded as a little famous, and what really put him on the road to the gods is a news documentary - "Sichuan QiquLu".
In 1979, at the beginning of reform and opening up, the film industry slowly revived. A film crew was planning to make a documentary about strange people and wonders, and they searched for material in Sichuan. Very coincidentally, they found out about the Sea Lantern Mage who knew Shaolin stunts. At this time, the master of the sea lamp was 77 years old and was sorting out his martial arts qigong works in his hometown of Jiangyou.

The filming location was selected at the Kawanishi Mingcha Baoguang Zen Temple, where Master Hai Lantern personally performed stunts such as "Two Finger Zen" and "Tong Zi Gong". In 1982, a journalist named Jing Yongxiang published an article in the Sichuan Daily called "'Sea Lantern Master' Words Shaolin" introducing Shaolin martial arts, which specifically mentioned that Master Hai Lantern was a famous Shaolin martial artist, martial arts instructor, and so on. The article is not long, only 940 words in its entirety, which has caused great repercussions throughout the country.
Why? The reason is that the movie starring Jet Li that year - "Shaolin Temple". As soon as the movie was released, it immediately swept the country. In order to promote Chinese culture, the 83-year-old Hai Lantern Master and his disciples were also invited to visit the United States with the Chinese delegation, and also blew a "Shaolin whirlwind" in the local Chinese circle. In a performance-type martial arts tournament, his disciple Fan Yinglian easily defeated the tall, burly American boxer. After this battle, the influence of the Sea Lantern Master has reached its peak.
The overwhelming publicity of the media, the influence of movies and TV series, people think that the sea lantern mage has become a god. People even built shrines for him and worshipped him, almost to the point of madness.
The Sea Lantern Master felt the pursuit and worship of the believers, and the scenery was infinite. An old man wrote an internal reference article exposing the fraudulent behavior of Master Hai Lantern and his disciples. Who is it? He was the first to write an article in the Sichuan Daily to promote the Sea Lantern Master to the public' Jing Yongxiang.
Speaking of Jing Yongxiang, Master Hai Lantern and his disciples have always referred to him as a benefactor. Ten years of turmoil have affected the Sea Lantern Master and others a lot, and life is very difficult. Because of the publication of that explosive article, Master Hai Lantern and his disciples received a lot of attention and improved their lives. Now the benefactor has taken the lead in saying that they are cheating, which makes their situation very difficult. On the other hand, the Shaolin Temple is full of contradictions and entanglements with them.
Speaking of the Shaolin Temple, a thousand-year-old temple, the abbot must be an extremely respected monk. The abbot of the Shaolin Temple served once during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, and has not been there for more than three hundred years since. And the Sea Lantern Mage went around promoting himself as the Abbot of Shaolin. They questioned that the so-called Master Of the Sea Lantern was a fictitious one, an out-and-out charlatan.

The question of Shi Cheng's is to talk about the previous Zhenxu Master. Because of his pseudonym Ru Feng, master Hai Lantern did not know his true name. The Shaolin Ru characters are three hundred years behind, and the legal name of Ru Feng is naturally no one. In fact, Master Zhenxu is ranked according to the word "Zhen", and the "line" character of the abbot shi xingzheng is counted three generations up.
But Master Zhenxu died more than ten years ago, and there is no way to prove it. Until the death of the Sea Lantern Master, none of the Shaolin monks mourned, which showed the depth of the estrangement.
Speaking of respecting Yongxiang, why did you hold the Sea Lantern Master and personally expose it? At first, he wrote articles to find a typical example of correcting the chaos, and the Sea Lantern Master, as a down-and-out religious person, is indeed a good case. His reporting is decent and not exaggerated.
However, the subsequent publicity of other media far exceeded his expectations. What "Qigong extinguished the fire of Daxing'anling", "practicing Qigong can cure diseases", and "Qigong can hit people in the air like a bullet", the more it blows, the more outrageous it is. People listen to these and become obsessed with unrealistic miracles. He was worried about the impact of the whole society, so he sent the article that "exposed the fake".
A stone stirred up a thousand layers of waves, and this internal reference really set off an uproar. Master Hai Lantern's disciples sued Jing Yongxiang in court for defamation. Some people came out to corroborate Jing Yongxiang, for example, the staff of the "Sichuan Strange Fun Record" pointed out that when master Hai Lantern was doing the two-finger zen, he tied a rope to his leg and made a fake. Some people have also stood up to support the early years of seeing. Opinions are divided and inconclusive.
It is not difficult to imagine that in order to hunt for curiosity, the media always led the interview topic in the direction of exaggeration. After all, there are so many stories, can anyone read them? The Sea Lantern Master connived and even cooperated in this direction, which naturally had a certain fault. But who can say that he is all wrong?
Water can carry boats and overturn boats, and the original beliefs have now been turned into verbal criticism. Throughout his life, Master Zhonghai Lantern has always been diligent and simple, preaching and teaching. The Buddhist family pays attention to quiet and inaction, and he has been practicing meditation for many years, but he still can't get rid of his attachment to getting ahead, and after all, he is cheating the world and stealing fame.
In the final analysis, The Sea Lantern Master is not a great traitor. If the course of history requires that absurdity of god-making, why should we harshly rebuke an old man who has passed away?
