West Ham fan thank you letter: Thank you to the players for their endless love against the cancer daughter

Live Bar Dec. 17 Nikki Caton is a West Ham United fan whose 7-year-old daughter has been battling cancer for five years. Now that her treatment is no longer effective, the father wrote a letter of thanks to West Ham United for the help the players and the club have been helping their daughter.

Dear West Ham United Family

My daughter, Isa Caton, is almost seven years old, and she has been battling stage IV neuroblastoma for five years, and in five years, she has undergone chemotherapy, radiation therapy, two stem cell transplants, countless bone marrow extractions, brain surgeries, and a twelve-hour surgery to remove a major tumor.

She also received immunotherapy and MIBG treatment, and just by talking about the treatment items, I can write this article all over. In 2018, we were told that Isa had only three months left to live, that we had sold all our belongings and taken Isa to Barcelona for life-saving treatment. We fought the disease in Spain for two years, but due to the impact of the epidemic, we had no choice but to go home.

This week we were informed that Isa's cancer treatment was no longer effective. Now we decided to leave time for Isa and do our best to create more wonderful memories for her.

Isa is a real-life superhero and we live for every day.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to my friends who have given to our families. If we don't raise money, we'll be disappointed and we'll have nowhere to go.

Led by Mark Noble and Robert Snowdgrass, the Hammers players paid a lot for Isa, carrying her to the pitch and visiting her in a barcelona hospital. Former and active West Ham players have participated in fundraisers and donated items for auction fundraising.

We are very grateful to the Board and club staff for their help and kindness to us and we cannot thank you enough to send isa a steady stream of love.

Thank you to all the friends who helped our daughter raise money, who stood outside the London Bowl and venues across the country, braving the cold wind and rain. Thank you again to the friends who donated, thank you for making our lives a better place and for helping us see the light in the darkest of days.

My last thanks are to Sean Wincott, the initiator of the fundraising project. I will always be grateful, our love and respect for you is unique, you are the soul of all this, we love you.

Nicky Caton
