After the hospital emergency pre-examination received the patient, the neurology department was immediately notified, and with the close cooperation of multiple disciplines, the green channel was opened, and the examination was completed in 20 minutes.
After a comprehensive evaluation by the neuro-vascular group doctors, it was determined that Zhou Laobo was an acute cerebral infarction. Fortunately, the family sent to the hospital in time, still within the treatment time window, and there is no need for neurointervenous thrombolytic treatment, and intravenous thrombolysis can be given. After 14 days of treatment, Zhou Laobo's limbs moved flexibly and regained his former vitality.

It is reported that stroke has become the first cause of death of Chinese residents, of which ischemic stroke, that is, cerebral infarction, accounts for about 80% of the proportion of stroke.
After acute cerebral infarction occurs, irreversible necrosis of some brain tissue occurs, resulting in symptoms such as limb paralysis and language disorders. Some patients still have a part of the brain tissue around the core area of infarction that is in a state of ischemia, and can be restored in time. This is why intravenous thrombolysis can achieve good results.
Intravenous thrombolysis is currently recognized worldwide as one of the most effective treatment measures for dissolving blood clots, restoring blocked vascular blood flow, and re-passing blood vessels through intravenous thrombolytic drugs, but it has a strong time dependence.
Within 3-4.5 hours after the onset of acute cerebral infarction, after rigorous imaging, blood and other related tests and specialist evaluation and screening, the earlier the start, the greater the benefit, and the smaller the risk of bleeding.
Therefore, when patients have common symptoms of acute cerebral infarction such as unilateral limb numbness, weakness, crooked corners of mouth, and slurred speech, they should go to a nearby hospital with thrombolytic conditions as soon as possible.
