The Huati Group/FINA World Marathon Swimming Series Finals was held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, from 15-16 December 2021.

On the first day, the open water swimming 4x1500m relay race was held. On the second day, the German team won the men's and women's championships in the 10 km marathon: Tokyo Olympic champion Verbrock won the gold medal in the men's group with a time of 1 hour 48 minutes and 9 seconds 40 seconds, and Baker, the third runner-up at the 2019 FINA Gwangju World Championships, won the gold medal in the women's group with a time of 1 hour 58 minutes and 17 seconds.
