Reporter: Newcastle offered 100 million euros for Vlahovic, but the players wanted to join a Champions League team

According to Italian media RAI Sport reporter Filippo Grassia, Newcastle offered 100 million euros for Fiorentina striker Vlahović, but the player hopes to join a team that can play in the Champions League.

Vlahovic rejected Fiorentina's contract extension, which expires in June 2023, making it highly likely that he will leave the team in January or in the summer window.

Vlahovic was originally inclined to join Juve, but the Bianconeri cannot afford the transfer fee at the moment, and fiorentina's relationship with Juve is not harmonious.

Journalist Filippo Grassia reported that Newcastle had offered Florence up to 100 million euros for the purchase of Vlahović. However, Vlahović is prepared to turn down Newcastle, who does not qualify for the Champions League and has the hope of competing for the title trophy.

In addition, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in competing for Vlahovic.

Vlahović, a 21-year-old Serbian striker, has played 19 games for the Purple Lily this season, contributing 17 goals and two assists.
