Format rules
The winner of the first UEFA Nations League was Portugal, and the second was France this year. The third UEFA Nations League, the group stage is held from June to September 2022: A, B, C three levels, each with 16 teams, divided into four groups of 4 teams; D class only 7 teams, divided into two groups, one group of 4 teams, one group of 3 teams.
The four group firsts of the A class participate in the knockout round (final round) held in June 2023 to compete for the championship; the group of B, C and D is promoted first; the group of A and B is directly relegated; the fourth group of C participates in the play-offs, and the 2 teams that lose are relegated to the D class.
