In 2021, the theme works of the Winter Olympics are emerging in an endless stream. Focusing on the theme of "Ice and Snow Covenant, Embracing the World", China International Television Corporation presents the audiovisual feelings and impacts of ice and snow sports in an all-round and three-dimensional manner through documentary feature films and short videos, and presents this global event from multiple angles and forms. Among them, the Sino-US co-production documentary "Smart Winter Olympics" records China's creation and Chinese wisdom in the fields of security, digital, intelligent and green at the 2022 Winter Olympics. By telling the character stories of science and technology and the Winter Olympics, it embodies the power of "innovation changes the world" and vividly interprets the first intelligent Winter Olympics in history. The Winter Olympic micro-documentary "Building Dreams and Ice" is a sister film of the documentary "Wisdom Winter Olympics", focusing on the little-known and dream-helping little people behind the event, and telling the inextricable connection with the Olympic competition in the first person of the protagonist.
During the Beijing Winter Olympics, the Central Radio and Television Station will set up ultra-high-definition large screens in many large and medium-sized cities across the country to broadcast the Olympic games live, and the audience can watch the Winter Olympic programs through the outdoor public large screen, and at the same time listen to the program accompaniment through mobile phones.
In addition, the international co-production documentary "Great Dunhuang" produced by CCTV Records International Media Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the head office, invited the documentary teams of the United Kingdom, Kyrgyzstan, India, Japan and other countries to jointly produce, using the expression of ancient and modern contrasts, telling the inheritance and continuation of the cultural heritage of Dunhuang in the past and present, comprehensively presenting the long-standing historical and cultural connotation of Dunhuang, unveiling the mystery of Dunhuang to the global audience, and showing the integration, communication and exchange between different races and civilizations in the new international situation.
The international co-production documentary "New Year Painting And Painting Year" focuses on the most intense image element of the Spring Festival Chinese, the New Year Painting, which uses the expression of fireworks and fire, combines vr and other new technology expression methods to maximize the unique charm of the New Year Painting, and will use novel scheduling methods, large and small screen simulcasting, media product promotion and other methods to try to let more people feel the breadth and depth of excellent traditional culture.
Jointly planned by the head office and CGTN, and produced by China Television International Media (Beijing) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the head office, the documentary "Leapfrog" focuses on the theme of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Argentina, telling the deep cooperation and deep friendship between China and Argentina in environmental protection, free trade and cultural exchanges since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Argentina, and providing an opportunity for the people of both sides to understand this close friendship and cooperation process.
