On December 16, according to Xiamen Television News, on the 14th, the China Filmmakers Association announced the main jury list of the 2021 Golden Rooster Film Venture Capital Conference, and announced that the Golden Rooster Film Venture Capital Fund plan was launched to create opportunities for more outstanding projects to be seen.

The main judges of the 2021 Golden Rooster Film Venture Capital Conference will be Huang Jianxin, Huang Bo and Guan Hu, who will join hands with the gold medal producer jury to select various award-winning projects.

The newly established Golden Rooster Film Venture Capital Fund Program was also officially launched. Initiated by the China Filmmakers Association and Xiamen City, Jinji Film Venture Capital Fund will attract seven enterprises such as Wanda Pictures, Huayi Brothers, Tencent Video, and Xiamen Film Dream Factory Co., Ltd. as limited partnership investors, and will select outstanding works with artistic innovation, social influence and commercial return in Jinji Venture Capital every year to invest, provide capital support for potential newcomer directors, help them realize their film dreams, and thus promote the high-quality development of Chinese films.

In addition, this year's conference also added a "project in production" unit on the basis of the original main unit, mainly collecting film projects that have started shooting or are in post-production, aiming to help more high-quality projects land faster by expanding the scope of support. Although the "Project in Production" unit was established for the first time by Jinji Venture Capital, its performance was eye-catching and surprising. In terms of the number of declarations, in just one month, as many as 137 projects were collected, ranking among the best in the same type of venture capital; at the same time, the quality of declarations was high and the subject matter of declarations was diverse. After several rounds of rigorous and impartial evaluation, the unit has selected 8 projects to be shortlisted for the ultimate roadshow. The creators of the eight projects will conduct the ultimate roadshow of the project during the film festival, competing for the "Jury Special Recommendation of Projects in Production" award.
