Young can be expected! 18-year-old goalkeeper Liu Shaoziyang joined Bayern Munich

Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich FC officially announced today that the team has officially signed 18-year-old Young Chinese goalkeeper Liu Shaoziyang for a contract until June 30, 2025. Wuhan Sanzhen Football Club said Liu Shaoziyang was the first Chinese player introduced by Bayern.

Liu Shaoziyang is from the youth training of Wuhan Three Towns, and has been selected for the national football team U14, U15, U16 and other age groups. Liu Shaoziyang said he would play for the Bayern youth team.

Wuhan Sanzhen Football Club confirmed the news at the same time and revealed that as the first young player jointly cultivated by the two clubs, Liu Shaoziyang has been training and living at the Bayern youth training base in Munich for 11 months.

In 2014, Liu Shaoziyang entered the youth training echelon of Wuhan Three Towns;

In 2016, as one of the members of the Overseas Star Training Program of Wuhan Three Towns Football Club, Liu Shaoziyang went to Barcelona, Spain to study and receive overseas football training;

In 2017, Liu Shaoziyang was selected for the U14 China National Training Team for the first time, and has since been selected into the 2018 U15 Chinese National Team Training List and the 2019 Chinese Football A Team (U16) Training List;

In 2019, Liu Shaoziyang represented the U16 national junior team to participate in the "Huashan Cup" International Youth Football Championship and the 8th China-Russia Youth Games, and was invited to Germany for trial training in the same year during training in Spain;

In 2020, Liu Shaoziyang began to train with the first team of the Wuhan Sanzhen Football Team;

At the beginning of 2021, Bayern Munich and the three towns of Wuhan reached a cooperation agreement to jointly devote themselves to the training of Chinese youth players, Liu Shaoziyang became the first player jointly trained by the two clubs, and went to the Bayern youth training base in Munich, Germany for training, and then appeared in the Bayern youth team competition.

On December 16, 2021, Bayern Munich FC officially signed a contract with Liu Shaoziyang, who also became the first Chinese male footballer introduced by the club.
