Walking into the 80-acre crayfish breeding base in Liuzhuang Village, Maiping Town, Huaxi District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, the colorful pastoral scenery and the gorgeous lotus pond flower sea shine together. In the crayfish pond, the lotus flowers compete for glory, red or white, or buds, and the picturesque scenery attracts tourists to watch and take pictures.
"The lotus flowers here are so beautiful, and the pavilions and corridors are good photo check-in points." Tourist Xiong Bifen said that Liuzhuang Village is very close to the city and can be reached by car for half an hour. Because the lotus flowers here are in full bloom, and there are crayfish, the environment is good and there are many delicacies, so I will come to play with friends.

Lotus flowers bloom, and blue sky, white clouds, and lotus leaves together form a clean and beautiful natural scenery map. Crayfish grow freely in such a good environment, and excrement adds organic fertilizer to the growth of lotus flowers, forming a virtuous ecological cycle.
Such a scene is the result of Liuzhuang Village's vigorous development of characteristic industries to promote rural revitalization. In recent years, with the help of huaxi park - Tianhetan - Hongfeng Lake scenic tourism line, adjacent to the transportation advantages of Gui'an New District, a state-level new area, the liuzhuang village committee has vigorously developed characteristic industries such as crayfish and fine fruits, leading the villagers to walk out of a way for party building to lead the development of the industry.
The villagers' committee guides the villagers to participate in breeding in the form of funds and land shares, and the villagers jointly raise 500,000 yuan, circulate nearly 200 mu of land to recuperate and store water, breed crayfish and plant lotus flowers; explore the "party branch + company + farmer" business model, adopt the way of entrustment of the two village committees for transparent and open management, 51% of the proceeds are distributed to farmers, 49% are distributed to the company, and the annual income is expected to reach about 1 million yuan.
Nowadays, Liuzhuang Village takes advantage of its superior geographical location to expand agricultural functions, relying on existing tourism resources, developing tourism projects such as "farmhouses" and "rural tours", realizing the organic combination of sightseeing agriculture, taste culture, vacation and leisure, and increasing farmers' income through multiple channels. In the future, the village will strive to build a new rural area integrating the development of emerging industries and ecological agricultural tourism.
