Today (June 27) afternoon, dozens of old painters and folk calligraphy and painting enthusiasts in Nanjing jointly launched the "100-meter Calligraphy and Painting Long Scroll Exhibition" to welcome the centenary of the founding of the party.
These calligraphers and painters, folk calligraphy and painting enthusiasts, with an average age of more than 75 years old, they "learn from the old, do something for the old, and have fun in the old", with the theme of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, with more than 100 paintings and calligraphy works, forming a long scroll of more than 100 meters.
The oldest calligrapher is over 100 years old. He was the old general Peng Bo, who was once praised by Mao Zedong as "the three pens in the army". Born in 1918, General Peng Lao's calligraphy is deeply loved by people for his outstanding meritorious service, virtue and art. In 1967, Peng Lao was appointed as the commander-in-chief of the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge Construction Command, and he lived up to Premier Zhou's expectations and made outstanding contributions to ensuring the construction of the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge.
Xu Guolin, a disciple of General Wu Zhongqi and a national first-class calligrapher, also participated in the event. Xu Guolin, Zi Yigong, the lord of the Jiuding Zhai, was born in the Hanmo family and was deeply inspired by the true biography of Mr. Wu Zhongqi.
This "100-meter-long scroll exhibition", drawing on the strengths of all, with the help of China's ancient and magical art, composed a colorful movement of "The History of the Party, the History of the Past Century, and the Mission of Danqing Light and Shadow Painting".
