Chelsea officially announced that the safe seating area at Stamford Bridge will be tested in the 21st round of the Premier League against Liverpool on 2 January next year.
The secure seating areas of Stamford Bridge Stadium are located in the lower areas of the Matthew Harding Stand and the upper and lower levels of the Sheather Stand, which have been fitted with flip-up seats that all fans who have purchased seats in these areas can choose to sit down or stand to watch the game during the game. But the safe seating area will not appear in champions league matches.
