In the planning of the management committee of the high-tech zone, it is necessary to build the electronic information industry park into a domestic first-class industrial park with digitalization, intelligence, greening and specialization as the core standards, and cloud platform computing, cloud network system, communication and navigation equipment, electronic computers, and electronic components as the industrial focus.
Professor Chen Hongyu, former vice president of the Party School of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, who has visited Qingyuan High-tech Zone many times to investigate, believes that Qingyuan, as a city in the Guangzhou metropolitan area, provides a broad space for the development of Guangzhou's industrial economic transfer, and with the acceleration of the integration process of Guangzhou and Qingdao, Qingyuan High-tech Zone has become the forefront and main battlefield of economic development in the Guangzhou metropolitan area.

For the problem of how to build a complete industrial chain in the electronic information industry park, Chen Hongyu suggested: First, before introducing enterprises, we should make a comparative analysis with the industrial parks around the Guangzhou Metropolitan Circle and Qingyuan High-tech Zone, recognize our own positioning, and find out our unique advantages; secondly, we should pay more attention to the introduction of leading enterprises that have a pulling effect on the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure, and let the leading enterprises drive the upgrading of the industrial chain.
It is understood that at present, the main road of the electronic information industry park, Lianhu Avenue, has been completed and opened to traffic, the planning of the park and supporting areas has been completed, the land acquisition is basically completed, and the work of land application for approval, water supply and power supply engineering, site survey and earthwork surveying is being stepped up, and it is planned to officially start construction and implement infrastructure construction at the beginning of next year, and the land will be listed for sale in the first half of the year. In terms of project introduction, on the basis of Tencent's project, the park has introduced projects such as Mingpu Optomagnetism, Dongdian Association, Huafeng Performing Arts Equipment, etc., and a number of projects such as Taiwan Gallium Sheng Chip Project, Hang Seng Semiconductor Components Project, and Zhansheng Group Global Headquarters are under negotiation.
It is foreseeable that the electronic information industry park will become another important growth pole to promote the rapid development of Qingyuan National High-tech Zone.
