Telegraph: Conte agrees to Ali's winter window away from Tottenham Levy wants his permanent transfer but does not rule out a loan

According to the British media "Daily Telegraph" report, Tottenham coach Conte gave the green light for the departure of midfielder Ali, who is likely to leave the team next month.

Ali, 25, has already discussed his future with the club and hopes to use this as an opportunity to return to the England national team, with the last time he made his appearance for the national team in October 2019.

In the first six rounds of the Premier League this season, Ali started every game, and the first five of them played all the time. But then his situation took a sharp turn for the worse, and he sat on the bench continuously. After Conte took office in November, Tottenham Hotspur played only two minutes in six Premier League games, and in the fifth round of the Europa League group stage, he started and played 54 minutes before being replaced.

Tottenham president Levy wants Alli to leave the team on a permanent transfer basis, but can also negotiate a loan, possibly with a buyout clause.

The 25-year-old Ali has played 14 games for Tottenham This season, contributing 2 goals and 1 assist. In the six and a half years since joining Tottenham, Ali has played in 265 games for the team, scoring 67 goals and providing 61 assists. German transfer shows that he is currently worth 30 million euros.
