The Dalian Barracuda Bay Professional Football Stadium project is surrounded by the sea on three sides, and will become China's first professional football stadium surrounded by the sea on three sides after completion. The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of 2022 and will be used as the main venue of dalian to host some of the 2023 Asian Cup in China. The design concept of the stadium is "magnificent and spiraling", which means the city spirit of Dalian to ride the waves and strive upwards, and expresses the good wish of the football industry to continuously improve and march forward. The total area of the project is about 26.5 hectares, with a total construction area of about 136,000 square meters, a road and square area of 70,000 square meters, and a green area of 47,000 square meters. The stadium is a 63,000-seat special football pitch with 2 training grounds and 1 ancillary supporting rooms. There is a 2.2 km jogging ramp that surrounds the course, leading to the nearly 7-storey high top viewing platform.

From November 5th, the "Hello, China Asian Cup!" will be displayed in the Dalian News Media Group Building by using the form of building projection. And "China Asian Cup, Dalian Division Welcomes You" words and the event emblem pattern, to carry out the theme light show activities of the division, welcome the general public, fans and friends to come here at night to "punch in".
