In the 2nd minute, Llorente's cross was met by Cunha. Two minutes later, Cunha fired high in front of the penalty area. In the 10th minute, Kroos' cross from the left corner was deflected off Militao's header.
In the 16th minute, Modric made a steal in midfield, Casemiro split, Benzema crossed, Asensio directly, Vinicius crossed from the right wing, Benzema volleyed in front of the penalty spot, 1-0.
On 23 minutes, Cork's long-range shot was deflected wide. Three minutes later, Militang fired high from distance.
In the 36th minute, Griezmann took a free-kick and shot hard, and Courtois flew to seal the ball.
