The president of fresh grocery delivery company Instacart left after only three months on the job

According to Sina Technology, Carolyn Everson, president of Instacart, said on Friday that she would resign at the end of the year, just three months after she joined the grocery delivery service. It's the latest personnel change among Instacart's C-level executives, last time when advertising executive Seth Dallaire left in October to join Walmart. The company has hired executives from big tech companies like Facebook (now known as Meta), Amazon and Google.

While Instacart's valuation has grown rapidly to nearly $40 billion this year, some new additions, including Iverson, are also well versed in managing much larger companies.

Iverson, who worked as an advertising executive at Facebook for more than 10 years, was once the most high-profile talent introduction Evercart CEO, Fidji Simo, has ever made. Earlier this year, Seamus, the former head of Facebook's app, succeeded founder Apoorva Mehta.

Iverson is seen as one of the most prominent women behind Facebook's chief operating officer, Sheryl Sandberg, but Iverson left the company after Marne Levine was promoted to chief commercial officer last summer.
