Core i3-12300 test outflow, single-core performance is very powerful

At present, the 12th generation Core processor desktop version of Alder Lake-S has been released, the first batch of high-end models listed at the end of this year are high-end models with K, while mainstream models such as Core i3 and Core i5 non-K versions will not be released until after next year's CES.

However, more test information about Alder Lake-S has not released new products in the channel, and recently a B station user tested the ES engineering fragments of core i3-12300 and i3-12100 processors, and gave the results of CPU-Z and Cinebench R20, and conducted AIDA64 grill pressure test.

Cpu-Z version 1.98 can already identify these two new processors, due to the positioning of the low-end, so the Core i3-12300 and Core i3-12100 are 4-core 8-thread design, all cores are performance cores, no additional energy efficiency cores.

In terms of test results, CPU-Z running scores: Core i3-12300 single-core 702, multi-core 3482, Core i3-12100 single-core 687, multi-core 3407; Cinebench R20 running score, Core i3-12300 single-core 665cb, multi-threaded 3318cb, Core i3-12100 single-core 649cb, multi-threaded 3248cb.

Editor's comments: Alder Lake-S's performance core is Golden Cove's IPC further improved, even if the frequency of running in the early 4GHz has a strong single-core performance, this sneak test also proves this, even if it is a low-end product such as core i3-12100, single-core performance can catch up with or even surpass the 11th generation Core i9-11900K and AMD Zen 3 architecture of the Ryzen 9 5950X. It is believed that after the listing next year, it will drive more users to upgrade their PC equipment.
