In July 2014, the Red Doctor "Township" Volunteer Team of the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University was established, and it has been more than 7 years. The spirit of red doctors has been passed down by this volunteer team of doctors. The team has set up "Love Aid Volunteer Service Team", "Mutual Help and Mutual Assistance Volunteer Service Team" and "Public Welfare Volunteer Service Team". Since 2016, the "Mutual Help and Mutual Assistance Volunteer Service Team" has organized clothing donation warm heart activities every June and July, and the donation crowd is all employees and fraternal units of the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University, such as Liaoning Provincial Cancer Hospital and China Railway Group. At present, the total donation of clothing books has exceeded 10 tons.
Also since 2016, the volunteer project has been based on the policy development of the national and local provincial and municipal rural revitalization strategies, taking the "medical-education-agriculture" model as the overall framework for rural revitalization, and helping villages with lagging economies in the province for nearly 6 consecutive years, such as Songlingzi Village in Chaoyang Lingyuan City, Shuangjingzi Village in Yixian County, Jinzhou, and radiating to the surrounding areas.
Free clinics have benefited nearly 10,000 villagers in the countryside
In the free clinic help, volunteers found that a large proportion of the villagers are over 50 years old, many of them suffer from common chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, glaucoma, etc., but they do not pay attention to it, do not know how to treat, and are reluctant to treat, resulting in delays in the condition abound.
They carried out online and offline lectures on popular science knowledge and disease screening, covering 8,000 villagers. Special fundus examination and juvenile myopia screening work, assisted in contacting and treating more than 150 villagers.
More than 100,000 yuan of materials were donated to support rural education

On the way to help, there are really too many such cute children, and every time they see them, the volunteers are more determined to do more for the countryside and make the children's smiles brighter.
Through unremitting efforts, at present, the "township" team of red doctors has implemented the pairing of 45 left-behind children to help, and donates books, stationery and teaching equipment to rural children every year. They integrated relevant resources, adopted measures such as the Sunshine Project and Charity Aid, and raised donations worth about 100,000 yuan and more than 3,000 books. They visited rural children many times, taught them health, science, human physiology courses, and brought stationery gifts...
Help agricultural production to support sales and generate income
In addition to using their medical knowledge to carry out volunteer services, the Red Doctor "Township" guard team really integrated themselves into the village in the process of entering the countryside, and they did their best for the villagers' sake and hoped that the villagers would live a good life.
The Red Doctor "Township" guard team found that all the rural arable land they helped was dry land, "nine droughts in ten years", and the grain output was low and unstable. They actively contacted experts and scholars in agriculture, and successfully implemented a precise plan to increase production, and the effect was very good. They invited experts and professors from an agricultural university to teach villagers the ideas and methods of scientific planting, helped the village to introduce deep processing machines for agricultural products, and increased the income of rural agricultural products by 30%; their team also helped villagers establish a rural fruit and vegetable e-commerce team, held agricultural product promotion meetings and New Year goods festivals, jointly expanded sales channels online and offline, solved the problem of sales of 24,000 kilograms of agricultural products, and generated more than 280,000 yuan in income.
