According to ESPN statistics, Barca have suffered a major reversal in the knockout stages in the Champions League twice in the past four years, and suffered a bloodbath from Bayern and Paris, while this season they have gone home directly from the group stage.
In the early hours of this morning, Barca lost 3-0 away to Bayern in the final round of the Champions League group stage, ranking third in the group and missing the Champions League knockout stage, which is the first time in 21 years that Barca have been eliminated in the Champions League group stage.

2019: Barca led Liverpool 3-0 in the first leg, lost 4-0 in the second leg, and was reversed 3-4 on aggregate to stop in the semi-finals
2020: Barca defeat Bayern Munich 2-8 to reach the quarter-finals
2021: Two legs 2-5 eliminated by Paris to stop in the quarter-finals; third place in the group stage did not qualify for the knockout round
