The film participating in the Long Film Festival | "The Light Whisperer" China's first Arctic scientific research film

The 16th China Changchun Film Festival will be held in Changchun, Jilin Province from December 21 to 25, 2021. Among the participating films, "The Whisperer of Light", as China's first Arctic scientific expedition film, depicts the work and life of Chinese Arctic expedition team members in the ice and snow world. The contributions made by the scientific expedition team members to China's scientific exploration and the hardships involved deserve attention.

The Arctic Circle, New Olsson, is a 120-day polar night. In order to monitor the aurora, Liu Yang, a member of the scientific expedition team, will be stationed alone at the Yellow River Station of the Chinese Arctic Scientific Expedition. What was it like to spend more than 2,800 hours of pure black nightlife? And what kind of people live in this town that can be walked in 15 minutes? Co-directed by Sun Hui, Feng Feng, Yang Ziyun and Zhou Quan, and filmed by Li Xiaowen, Liu Song, Sun Hui, Wang Kainan and Liu Yang, members of the Chinese Arctic Expedition Team, "The Whisperer of Light" truly shows the life of the "blue tones" of the Arctic expedition team members stationed in the polar night.
