LoL Five Kills mechanic may be changed: Complete 5 kills to empty the skill CD and get 5 seconds of invincibility time

author:Spring and Autumn Game Jun

The hands of time keep turning, and the long river of years rushes endlessly. In the process, many things are changing, and from a microscopic point of view, the changes that occur may not be obvious and not so easily perceived. But stretching the entire timeline, from a macroscopic perspective, makes it easier to see the changes and differences. The same goes for League of Legends. S12 preseason players, presumably, it is difficult to imagine that the S5 season can match a round of unlimited firepower in one or two seconds in the early morning, and it is difficult to imagine that the opening of an ordinary ranking and matching may only need to wait ten seconds.

League of Legends match scene

The changes in League of Legends are huge, and Fist makes a big change to LOL every season. As an ordinary gamer, it is difficult to evaluate whether the change of the fist designer has led to the decline in the popularity of the League of Legends terminal game, or the optimization adjustment made by fist because it predicts the decline in the popularity of the LOL terminal game. We can find that League of Legends has added a lot of new optimizations in recent seasons, and it is reasonable to say that Summoner Canyon should become more interesting. But the facts seem to be skewed.

If you count a little, you can see that LOL has added the Eternal Star Tablet, proficiency "dog tag", skin frame, perfect skin, Hex skin... These are things that lol did not have in earlier seasons.

LOL to The Perfect Soraka

In the S12 season, League of Legends may also change another mechanic - five kills. At present, LOL's "five-kill close-up" mechanism of Yong'en has been online beauty test suit, at first the author thought that the beauty test suit has appeared strange mechanism again... However, after analyzing all aspects, it was found that the mechanism that appeared this time was a new change.

LOL Five Kills

As we all know, when a player gets five kills in League of Legends, the system will have a sound effect of "Penta Kou", and the upper part of the screen will also display "Penta Kill". Other than that, there are no other special effects. But in the recent League of Legends beauty test suit, the fist designer suddenly added a five-kill close-up action, special effects and new mechanics to Yong'en. It is divided into 4 parts:

After Yong Eun takes five kills, there will be a knife retracting action that does not exist in the dance (pictured above);

During Yong'en's knife collection action, the upper and lower parts of the player's screen will turn black, and the perspective will focus on Yong'en;

During The Five Kills Close-up, the player cannot control it, but Yong'en himself becomes invincible for about 5 seconds;

After performing the Five Kills Celebration Action, all of Yong'en's skill CDs are cleared (only Yong'en's own skill cooldown is cleared, excluding summoner skills and equipment skills).

LOL Yong'en was killed

After testing, it was found that at present, only Yongen will have this close-up mechanism in the US test suit. It is very clear that Yongen close-up is not another strange situation, but a newly added mechanism. And at present, the mechanism can only be seen by Yong'en alone, and other players will not focus on you for the time being.

Unfortunately, there are still some problems with this mechanism:

During the five-kill close-up, sometimes it is not invincible, resulting in the player being unable to operate out of the range of the tower, dancing in place for five seconds, and being killed by the opponent's tower;

The five-kill close-up will waste 5 seconds of time, which is likely to cause the opponent's main crystal to be pushed flat, but after getting the five kills, it will dance in place, wasting precious time and causing the opponent to overturn.

If Fist can optimize these small flaws, I believe that in the future version of League of Legends, the five-kill close-up should be added to the official suit. What do you think?
