The opinions require that people's procuratorates and public security organs should strictly abide by the Criminal Procedure Law and other laws and regulations, clarify the division of responsibilities, and standardize the carrying out of investigative activities and investigation supervision work in accordance with law. On the basis of fully following the laws governing the operation of law enforcement and judicial power, respecting the laws of investigation, the need for supervision, and judicial practice, provide necessary facilities and guarantees for public security organs to carry out investigations in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with law, and for procuratorial organs to fully perform their supervisory duties in accordance with law.
