Hebei's "ice and snow caravan" has set off a new climax in the promotion of grass-roots ice and snow sports

Since the successful bid for the Winter Olympics, the Hebei Provincial Sports Bureau, in accordance with the deployment of the State General Administration of Sport and the Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, has focused on the goal of "more than 30 million people participating in ice and snow sports in the province by 2022", with the creation of a "pilot province for the development of national innovative ice and snow sports development system and mechanism" as the starting point, and the construction of ice and snow games as the traction, the construction of ice and snow venues as the guarantee, the mass ice and snow events as the carrier, and the popularization of youth ice and snow sports as the focus. Since 2019, Hebei Province has successfully held two consecutive provincial ice and snow games, realizing the "five full coverages" of the ice and snow games at or above the county level, indoor skating halls, ice and snow sports associations, ice and snow leagues and ice and snow sports in the campus, driving 22 million people in the province to participate in ice and snow sports, and solidly promoting the continuous development of ice and snow sports in Hebei. Up to now, 27.79 million people in Hebei have participated in ice and snow sports.

This year, as the footsteps of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics are getting closer and closer, ice and snow sports have shown unprecedented vitality in Yanzhao Land. On the basis of comprehensively preparing for the Third Provincial Ice and Snow Games, the Hebei Provincial Sports Bureau has vigorously promoted the sinking of ice and snow sports to the grass-roots level and expanded the participation and scale of urban and rural masses. In the promotion and popularization of ice and snow sports, the "ice and snow caravan" has become a characteristic carrier with good promotion effect, wide popularization range and popularity of the masses. Since the start of the "Ice and Snow Caravan" activity on August 8th, the "Ice and Snow Caravan" full of various types of ice and snow sports equipment, Winter Olympic knowledge exhibition boards, ice and snow sports knowledge manuals has entered communities, villages, schools and parks, VR ski simulators, ski machines, ski blankets, land curling, table curling, land hockey and other equipment so that the masses can enjoy the fun and charm of ice and snow sports at the "doorstep".

Up to now, the "ice and snow caravan" has entered 4,046 communities and more than 5,600 administrative villages, covering 93% of townships, creating 2,877 parks, shopping malls, and stores ice and snow sports experience areas, setting off a climax in the promotion of grass-roots ice and snow sports.

In order to further integrate superior resources, unite social forces, and promote the acceleration of ice and snow sports to the grass-roots level, the Hebei Provincial Sports Bureau, together with the Hebei Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Hebei Ice and Snow Sports Association, has formulated the "Implementation Plan for Jointly Promoting the Popularization of Ice and Snow Sports and Helping Rural Revitalization". On November 30, the tripartite organization mobilized more than ten private enterprises such as Junlebao and Hengshui Laobaigan to set up nearly 100 "ice and snow caravans" to jointly enter communities, villages and schools, so that the people can experience the "four seasons of ice and snow sports" around them, and promote the leapfrog development of ice and snow sports for the masses in the province.
