Victory Was one of the earliest newspapers of the Eighth Route Army in the front line of the Struggle in the Taihang Mountains of North China during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. Founded on May 1, 1938, the newspaper head was proposed by Zhu De, commander-in-chief of the Eighth Route Army. Until July 7, 1941, victory newspaper was changed to "Jinjiyu Daily", which lasted for three years and seven months.
"Victory Daily" played a very important role in the development and construction of the Taihang Mountain Anti-Japanese Base Area.
