The accident made Ms. Huang uneasy about the operation status of the community monitoring, believing that the property was derelict in managing the security equipment.
Cell monitoring such a high failure rate is not common, why does it happen? Can property companies alone solve it? To this end, reporters from Jiefang Daily and Shangguan News carried out many visits.

Repeated repairs, repeated damage, community monitoring failure rate is high

Ms. Huang told reporters that when she returned home on the evening of October 18, she tucked her car into a row of parking spaces on the west side of the main road near the south gate. The next morning, it was found that a large piece of the right side of the rear of the vehicle had been scratched. "Monitoring failures should be repaired immediately, how can they be saved?" Mr. Yuan, of Lane 330, Jiangwen Road, Pujiang Town, Minhang District, has the same concerns as Ms. Huang. The old community is facing the pressure of 240 monitored maintenance funds
For government-funded modifications and installations of surveillance equipment, the government usually coordinates with suppliers to provide a warranty for a period of time. But it is unavoidable that the failure rate of more than 240 surveillance cameras is higher than imagined. Manager Wang said that at least five or six should be repaired a month. Problems are more common in aging camera components. And a camera offer is about 900 yuan, a year down, maintenance costs a lot. What worries him is that the balance of community maintenance funds is close to the red line. How can community "micro-infrastructure" be sustainable?
Huajing Five Villages is a mixed community of commercial housing and after-sale public housing built in the early 21st century, with a permanent population of more than 3,800 people, and the elderly population accounts for about 30% of the entire population of the community.
