On December 5th, the second area of the "Joyful Four Seasons Dancing Mountain City" 2021 Chongqing Street Dance Competition was held in Jiangnan Cultural Park World Dahe Song Festival Square. The competition was hosted by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development and the Wanzhou District People's Government, organized by the Chongqing Municipal Mass Art Museum, the Chongqing Alliance of the Street Dance Committee of the China Dancers Association, and the Wanzhou District Cultural and Tourism Committee, and implemented by the Wanzhou District Cultural Center.
With the theme of "Leaping Seasons and Dancing Mountain City", the event competition is divided into four groups: juvenile single, adult single, juvenile dance, and adult dance, aiming to prosper the mass culture in Chongqing, focus on enhancing the coverage, diversity and epochality of the mass culture, stimulate the vitality and creativity of the majority of young people, and reflect the youth vitality of the "youngest municipality directly under the central government".
At 2:30 p.m., accompanied by a burst of dynamic music, the competition kicked off in the Junior Singles Audition. A number of young dancers sometimes jumped in the air and sometimes rolled and rotated, making the atmosphere of the scene explode from the beginning. The performance of the teenagers dancing in unison on the stage also made the audience cheer, and a group of young dancers after the 00s conquered the audience with their confident dance.
The participants of this event are not only adults, but also preschool children, and their handsome dance posture has won the applause of the audience. Wonderful dance performances such as "Dream Back to the Han and Tang Dynasties", "The World of The Gate", "Jianghu Wuxia", "Force and Beauty" and so on were successively staged on the stage. These contestants ingeniously combined ancient style elements with modern dance, and even integrated Three Gorges elements into the art of street dance, driving the audience with rhythm. The jumping notes and dynamic dance gestures show the vitality of teenagers and let the audience feast their eyes.

This competition will select the top 6 adult group dances, the top 10 individuals, the top 10 junior groups dance together, and the top 10 individual teams and players to participate in the municipal championship. It is worth mentioning that each link also sets up a judges' show, so that street dance lovers can feel the power and beauty brought by the art of street dance at close range.

At present, Wanzhou has 4 professional street dance training clubs and more than 30 comprehensive street dance training institutions. In addition, the "Street Dance into The Campus" activity jointly organized by the government and social institutions is deeply loved by primary and secondary school students, and the Large-scale Cultural Activities at the District Level such as the Spring Festival Cultural Benefit Party and the Jiangtan Music Season are also active in the figure of street dancers.
