The Nets' reason for abandoning Griffin has been exposed! Nash on promoting the 36-year-old veteran: He's good at scoring and rebounding

This season, Brooklyn Nets head coach Steve Nash is excited to have a veteran like Paul Millsap.

Millsap is playing his 16th NBA season and his first with the Nets. He wasn't one of the most valued players on the team, but the 36-year-old filled the void after James Johnson missed the game.

In praise of Millsap's performance, Coach Nash believes the four-time NBA All-Star player "did almost everything" in the process of helping the Nets win.

"He's great. He did everything right, he scored, he had the ability to attack, he grabbed some rebounds, he had offensive rebounds, he had some steals. Just did a little bit of everything, he was intense and I think his impact on the game was really good. ”

In the win over the Bulls, Millsap scored a season-high 13 points, seven rebounds and three steals in the 15-minute game. Unsurprisingly, the Nets' big man hopes to continue his performance in the following games.

"I've got a lot of great teammates telling me to be aggressive when I'm on the pitch and I want to focus on that and try not to care about the data. For me, I have to keep doing that, be aggressive and play my game well," Millsap revealed.

It's worth noting that Nash has now abandoned Griffin. Apparently, Nash was looking for a new replacement. I don't know how Griffin would feel when he saw the older Millsap being reused.
