On December 3, in a fisherman's courtyard in Wanglian Street, Shidao Management District, Rongcheng City, Shandong Province, farmers were drying dried salted fish, and the rich salty aroma drifted with the wind, forming a unique fisherman's scenery.
In early winter, many people in jiaodong area wash the fish with seawater and hang it on the shelf to dry, and the production process of this backwater salted fish has a history of thousands of years and is listed as a provincial intangible cultural heritage in Shandong.
In recent years, local fishermen have sold dried salted fish products through e-commerce platforms to local markets, driving the revitalization of rural industries.
