Recently, many aquarists have asked about the change of body color of ornamental fish, especially Luohan fish, doghead fish and the like, why the body color changes rapidly, often inexplicably appear some miscellaneous patches, is it suffering from skin diseases?
In fact, in most cases, it is some adverse reactions of ornamental fish, which is not a disease.
This guy has been in the previous fish tank for a long time, whether it is for the water quality or the environment, has been fully adapted, although during the period due to the light broken, there was a certain abnormality, but soon returned to the original body color.
When I threw it into the fish tank of the Fortune Cat and the Map Fish, the body color of this guy changed significantly, so much so that some aquarists thought, Is this guy sick?
In fact, it is not, but due to the sudden change of the environment, and this guy has never been raised with other ornamental fish, so there must be some depression and fear, don't look at it and attack other ornamental fish, but there will be psychological repression.
Then there is the background color of the fish tank, which was pure white before and now blue, of course, its body color will change accordingly, including the change of lighting.
Because of its strong combat effectiveness, finally decided to return to the original tank, half an hour after returning to the original tank, this guy's body color basically returned to the original state, after all, it stayed in this fish tank for a long time, it is still fresh in memory, back to the tank after half a day to try to feed, and the same appetite as before.
The reason why the map fish is not in good condition is because of the tossing and turning in the past few days, due to the problem of heating pipes forced to continuously collapse the tank, and there is another major problem is that the indoor water temperature is not constant, it may bring a little cold symptoms, itself compared to the water temperature in the fish shop, at least two degrees worse.
Therefore, the state of the map fish is not good, it is also forgivable, in case it is not good, there is a serious fin reduction or white spots and other diseases, it can only be temporarily heated, constant temperature a stage can be.
Similar to zebra dog head, Luohan fish and the like, in the case of poor water quality and serious depression, there may be some black veils, black spots and other phenomena, of course, we do not rule out the possibility of some diseases.
If it is a new aquarium fish, most of them are still due to factors such as not adapting to water quality, environment and lighting, and with the change of these conditions, various indications for ornamental fish will be manifested in their body color.
After that, with the passage of time, and we moderately adjust the water quality, ensure the stability of water quality and water temperature, and use food feeding for domestication, stimulate their desire to eat and excitement, these conditions can be improved, but also need to watch the fish themselves to slowly adapt, which will have a process, it is impossible to change in an instant.
In addition, we still have to observe the state and fatness of ornamental fish, food desire, defecation, etc., to prevent the outbreak of ornamental fish enteritis or because of improper water temperature, resulting in ornamental fish disease, etc. If the ornamental fish are excessively emaciated, the physique is too poor, and the body color will not be too good.
After we exclude these conditions one by one, the body color of most ornamental fish will slowly return to normal.
In addition, there is a situation, that is, the genetic problems of ornamental fish, there may be some black spots that cannot go down, but as long as everything else is normal, it is not a disease, ornamental fish can also live very well, not all ornamental fish, are a body color to the end, there will definitely be some fish body color is like that, even if the mood is good, it may not be able to recover.
