In order to better safeguard and protect the legitimate rights and interests of veterans, on December 2, the party committee and government of Sheqiao Town, Pingyu County, actively organized the theme activity of "inheriting red genes and always maintaining the true color of soldiers", and the town party and government groups, veterans service station staff and volunteers participated in the activities.
At the event, volunteers publicized the "Veterans Protection Law" to veterans, military dependents and the general public in the town by hanging banners, distributing publicity brochures, and setting up booths to answer questions on the spot, and explained the various policies of the state to care for and give preferential treatment to veterans. At the same time, explain the time node, scope and process of applying for the "Blue Card" to veterans, and implement the policy.
At this event, more than 300 copies of the "Veterans Security Law" brochures and more than 200 blue card leaflets of supplementary medical reimbursement for veterans' families were distributed to deepen the veterans' understanding of the "Veterans Security Law" and preferential treatment policies, create a strong atmosphere of respect and care for veterans in the township, attract more outstanding young people to join the army, and promote active service soldiers to serve with peace of mind.
