Looking back at the century-long struggle course of the Communist Party of China, during the period of the new-democratic revolution, after 28 years of bloody struggle, the party led the people, and with the active cooperation of various democratic parties and non-party democrats, proclaimed the founding of the People's Republic of China on October 1, 1949, realized national independence and people's liberation, realized China's great leap from thousands of years of feudal autocracy to people's democracy, and also greatly changed the world political pattern and inspired the struggle of oppressed nations and oppressed peoples throughout the world for liberation. Among them, during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the mainstay role of the Communist Party of China was the key to the great victory of the Chinese people in the War of Resistance Against Japan. This was the first national liberation struggle in modern times in which the Chinese people won a complete victory against foreign invasion, and it was also an important part of the victory in the world anti-fascist war.

During the period of socialist revolution and construction, the party adhered to an independent foreign policy of peace, advocated and adhered to the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, firmly safeguarded national independence, sovereignty and dignity, supported and assisted the cause of the liberation of the oppressed nations in the world, the cause of building a newly independent country, and the just struggle of the peoples of all countries, opposed imperialism, hegemonism, colonialism and racism, and completely put an end to the humiliating diplomacy of old China. The party actively promotes the multipolarization of the world and the democratization of international relations, promotes the development of economic globalization in a direction conducive to common prosperity, takes a clear-cut stand against hegemonism and power politics, firmly safeguards the interests of the vast number of developing countries, promotes the establishment of a just and rational new international political and economic order, and promotes lasting peace and common prosperity in the world. Among them, the party has established opening up to the outside world as a basic national policy, and opening up to the outside world has brought Funds, advanced technology and management experience to China, changed the ideological concepts of the Chinese people, stimulated the creative enthusiasm of the Chinese people, and significantly improved the level of China's modernization construction.
