2021 Jiading 17th Chrysanthemum Exhibition Photography Call for Papers Selection Results Announced! Is there anything you love?

Recently, the month-long 2021 Jiading 17th Chrysanthemum Exhibition came to an end, and Jiading Hui Longtan Park received a total of 43,754 tourists. This year's Jiading Chrysanthemum Exhibition, with the theme of "Chrysanthemum Song'en Dream New City", 100 varieties of about 20,000 pots of chrysanthemums outline a beautiful autumn scenery that can be appreciated and tasted. At the same time, the exhibition also creates a happy "city living room" for citizens and tourists through large-scale three-dimensional chrysanthemum art attractions with different characteristics.

During the 17th Chrysanthemum Exhibition in Jiading, the theme photo contest of "Juyun Songen Dream New City" was launched, and a total of 37 photography enthusiasts participated in the submission, and 168 photos and 5 small videos were received.

The Jiading Chrysanthemum Exhibition began on November 5, 1956, and according to the Jiading Daily, thousands of pots of chrysanthemums were exhibited in the garden of the Federation of Industry and Commerce in the city. In 1987, Qiuxiapu officially held the first chrysanthemum exhibition in Jiading, and two years later, the location of the chrysanthemum exhibition was changed to Huilongtan Park. 1990-1997 was the most prosperous era of Jiading Chrysanthemum Exhibition, enjoying chrysanthemum exhibitions, watching performances, eating snacks... The whole family went out to visit the chrysanthemum exhibition together, which became a cultural fashion of Jiading people.

At that time, the well-known enterprises in Jiading all invested in the exhibition under their own factory names, panda tie, Shanghai communication motor, Shanghai Volkswagen, etc., were well-known enterprises. The most distinctive feature is the annual trade fair.

Later, the chrysanthemum exhibition was suspended for several years. Held again in 2016, the chrysanthemum exhibition that year had nearly 80,000 pots of chrysanthemums, more than 200 kinds of chrysanthemums on display, and received nearly 120,000 visitors. The 13th National Chrysanthemum Exhibition in 2019 was held in Shanghai, and Jiading became the main sub-venue.
