The new DLC includes four new dinosaur species, including terrestrial races, marine races, and flying races. As the name suggests, they are all from the early Cretaceous period, and their unique behaviors and habits will pose additional challenges for park managers.

The first is the Kronosaurus from the sea, a large sea creature named kronos of the Titan gods in Greek mythology. They were one of the largest upper dragons, catching prey with their flippers. This was followed by the short, sturdy Dsungaripterus. The third new mob is the Minmi, which is described as "tank-like" and has a sport-level oriented bone plate. Finally, the Wuerhosaurus belonged to the stegosaurus family. They nibble on plants close to the ground and use the tip of their tails to fend off predators.

Jurassic World: Evolution 2's first DLC, the Early Cretaceous Pack, will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC on December 9.
