Recently, some overseas Chinese compatriots have reported that some ticketing agents and travel agencies claim that "Nepal has direct flights to China", misleading more than a dozen people from Nigeria to China to arrive in Nepal by detour. However, due to the fact that the direct flights from Nepal to China have been in a state of suspension since May this year, the above-mentioned personnel have been stranded in Nepal.
At present, the global epidemic situation has deteriorated again, and the new crown pneumonia mutant strain "Aomi Kerong" has spread rapidly, and the complexity of epidemic prevention and control has increased sharply. Many countries have taken emergency prevention and control measures such as canceling flights and restricting entry, and the World Health Organization has also issued epidemic prevention and control warnings to many countries, so there is great instability in the entry and exit control measures of various countries.
To this end, the Embassy and Consulates in Nigeria remind those who have gone to China from Nigeria not to blindly listen to the false promises of individual travel agencies or ticket agents to provide "one-stop" services for detouring back to China from Other countries such as Nepal, and to consult and confirm the itinerary arrangements involving transit in third countries through our local embassies and consulates, so as not to be deceived and cause unnecessary losses or stranding. For travel agencies or ticketing agents suspected of organizing such trips, please report to the embassy or consulate in Nepal in a timely manner.
