Recently, the "broken head road" near Beiyuan - Qiushi East Street of Red Army Camp Village was opened, realizing the north-south connection between Red Army Camp South Road and Shuangying Road, and also implementing parking spaces and installing traffic lights to facilitate the travel of surrounding residents.

Qiushi East Street is located in Laiguangying, Chaoyang District, with a total length of 520 meters, and there are buildings such as Rip Building and Beiyuan Hotel on both sides of the road, as well as residential areas such as Zhuhuanian and Qingyouyuan.

"Previously, this road was a wall on the south side and Shuangying Road on the north side. Roadside vehicles are parked at will, often crowding the road into one-way streets, and traffic jams are common. Before mentioning it, resident Wang Yuan shook his head, "In the morning and evening rush hours, all the cars rush to Shuangying Road, and there are no traffic lights at the intersection of Qiushi East Street and Shuangying Road. ”

To open up the "broken head road" is to open up the "road of public opinion." After coordinating with the relevant departments in Guangying district to formulate a sound road reconstruction plan, the upgrading project of Qiushi East Street was officially launched at the end of September.

After more than a month of renovation, the partition wall was completely demolished, and the original 17-meter-wide road was widened to 30 meters, and the road was rationally planned for motorized vehicles, non-motorized vehicles and pedestrian crossings.

"Now the road is open, no longer need to take a detour, walk to the subway, shopping malls only more than ten minutes, it is really convenient a lot, the intersection has newly installed traffic lights, crossing the road is also more practical!" Wang Yuan said happily.
