Wakanda is forever trending, with fans celebrating Chadwick Bosman's 45th birthday

Chadwick Boseman made a huge impact on the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a short period of time, making his debut in Captain America 3: Civil War and continuing to make history with The Black Panther. For that reason, on the actor's 45th birthday, Marvel fans popularized the word "Wakanda Forever" on Twitter as they paid tribute to the late actor, who sadly missed out on the industry more than a year after losing his battle with cancer.

Chadwick Boseman, who only entered the spotlight of show business in 2012's 42 years, quickly established himself as a noteworthy person, continuing to play James Brown in Get Up and Thurgood Marshall in Marshall. By the time he died of colon cancer in August 2020, he had been diagnosed with colon cancer in 2016, but most of the time it was kept secret, and Boseman had made a series of films, including Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, which earned him an Academy Award for Best Actor and a Golden Globe nomination, just a reminder of the amazing actor who was taken from the world prematurely.

For many, however, Boseman was, and will always be, T'Challa from Marvel's Black Panther, and Wakanda Forever is the only phrase that has become popular today as fans remember the actor. The phrase will also be the title of the second Black Panther movie, which will inherit Bosman's legacy of T'Challa, but will not reinvent the character. While the future of the Panther character was uncertain for some time, it was eventually decided to revise the original plan for the sequel to honor Boseman and ensure his memories continue throughout the series.

This year, Marvel's "What If...? The series was released on Disney+, in which Boseman recorded the final performance of the voiced character before the actor's death and once again forged an emotional bond between the series and fans. Where the character of T'Challa will go in the MCU is something we can never fully know, just as Boseman can climb the ladder of success in the film industry. He will now forever join the list of celebrities who were taken away prematurely and who will never be able to reach their potential.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever isn't the only time we've returned to Wakanda, the series is also in production. Continuing the series won't be easy for anyone involved, as director Ryan Coogler explained earlier when asked about continuing Black Panther's legacy. "It's hard. When you lose a loved one, you have to move on. I know Chad doesn't want us to stop. He was such a concerned group. Black Panther, that's his movie.
