This is the first rural art museum in Hotan district, which was built on the basis of the renovation and reuse of traditional houses in southern Xinjiang, with a total area of about 500 square meters. At present, more than 300 Chinese paintings, oil paintings and calligraphy works are exhibited in the three exhibition halls, including the handwriting of artists such as Min Yinnan, Xi Zhenming, Zhang Leizhen, and the young creations of children in the village. Since its opening in October this year, the exhibition hall has given villagers a space to perceive, discover and create beauty.

Liu Xin, a village cadre in Ayagjorda Village, and Alamus, a teacher at Bashjorda Primary School, both majored in fine arts and used their spare time to teach painting at the art museum. "Taking the children to draw together allowed me to see their rich inner world and unlimited creativity and imagination." Liu Xin said that while teaching painting, he will also tell the children the story behind the paintings, guide them to understand the cultural value of each painting, and arouse their desire to create.

"At present, the art museum has carried out more than 50 activities such as aesthetic education, theme art classes, and literary and artistic style creation, and villagers, especially young people, are improving their aesthetic ability on this platform, feeling the charm of China's excellent traditional culture, and then stimulating their own artistic potential." Peng Ziqian, deputy head of the "Visit huiju" task force of the Propaganda Department of the Autonomous Regional Party Committee in Ayagjorda Village, said that the rural art museum has also provided a creative platform and a source of creation for art workers who go to the grass-roots level to collect style.

Zhang Guoling, head of the "Visiting Huiju" task force and first secretary of the Propaganda Department of the Autonomous Regional Party Committee in Ayagjorda Village, said that next, they will strengthen the improvement and use of the art museum, organize various themed art exhibitions, organize research and study and style collection activities, and continue to give play to its functions and roles.

During the construction process, the Rural Art Museum was supported by the Autonomous Region Literary Association, the Xinjiang Academy of Painting, the Academy of Fine Arts of Qingdao University, and the Xinjiang Branch of Infinitus (China) Co., Ltd., an enthusiastic public welfare enterprise.
