Fang Jinlong: All this comes from my philosophy: "Folk music, to enjoy with the people." With this concept, we will often wonder what the audience likes and what young people like. Now that everyone has a fast pace of life, they like some fun entertainment to reduce their stress, then I think I have to find happiness in music, let people feel happy in enjoying music, so I created some concerts and music performances, adding my "Fang's talk show" to let everyone hear my music and listen to my new interpretation of music.

Does Guangdong music also have the potential to "fire out of the circle"?
Fang Jinlong: Too much! Guangdong music has actually long been out of the circle, "Backgammon", "Sailong Wins the Championship"... Which Chinese doesn't it listen to and hear every year? In my opinion, they are the most popular and fashionable music!
Back to the past, nearly a hundred years ago, Guangdong music used to "fire out of the circle". In the 1930s, Guangdong music and Cantonese opera were all popular music in Guangzhou, which was often staged in the theaters and tea houses at that time, and places such as Longevity, Taipingsha, and Baohuafang, as well as The Xianshi Department Store in Changdi, had theaters, like our current theaters and concert halls, and also released performance information from time to time. Fang Jinlong: The "Fang Jinlong Art World" studio I opened is in Shawan Ancient Town, Panyu. This is the birthplace of Guangdong music, an outstanding representative of Lingnan culture, with strong cultural roots, and in-depth study of Guangdong music is my original intention of going south to Guangzhou in 1988. As a representative of the Guangdong music elegance school, He Bozhong of Shawan Ancient Town and He Shaoxia in the Three Masters of He Are both pipa masters, and Guangdong music is the most shining cultural business card of Shawan and even Panyu and Guangzhou. As the earliest instrument used by Guangdong music pioneers, the pipa is worth writing all over Shawan.

Fang Jinlong: Guangdong music was conceived and grew up in Lingnan, and is in line with the characteristics of the Lingnan people who love life, it focuses on living life, and the purpose of creation is to meet the emotional needs of people's lives. Therefore, Guangdong music, regardless of the theme of the work or the inspiration of creation, mostly comes from daily life, such as the famous Cantonese music song "Rain Hit Basho", "SaiLong Wins the Gold", "Backgammon", etc. From the name alone, it is not difficult to see how closely they are related to people's cultural life, and this connection is so direct and specific.
I think that in order to make Guangdong music also catch fire, we must first let The Cantonese people like it first. Shawan Ancient Town is the birthplace of Guangdong music, but now there are even many Guangzhou people who don't know it. Therefore, we need to make more efforts in publicity, performance, teaching and inheritance. I also like to drink morning tea, make a pot of tea, and order some char siu buns, sausage powder, dry steaming, chicken claws, porridge powder... Cantonese people start their day with "one cup and two pieces", which makes people feel very energetic.
I also like the soup in Guangzhou, according to the seasonal materials, the four hours are different, especially healthy. Every time I come back to Guangzhou from other places, I have to drink a few bowls of old fire soup to feel relieved of my homesickness - Guangzhou is my second hometown.

Fang Jinlong: In fact, I like Guangdong food, just like I like Cantonese music, it is also the first classic.
