If development depends on the people, the fruits of development are shared by the people, and we unswervingly follow the road of common prosperity for all the people, we will certainly be able to lead the people to win new and greater victories in socialism with Chinese characteristics, and any attempt to separate and oppose the Communist Party of China from the Chinese people will never succeed." This fully reflects that the party has always been linked to the people's hearts, breathed together, shared a common destiny, and has always maintained flesh-and-blood ties with the masses of the people. Accurately understanding and grasping the internal logic of the inseparability of the party and the people is of great theoretical and practical significance for our party to unite and lead the people to march toward the second centenary goal and win a new great victory for socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.

The nature and purpose of the Party dictate

Marx and Engels pointed out in the Communist Manifesto: "All movements in the past were movements of the minority, or movements for the benefit of the minority. The Communist Party of China is the vanguard of the Chinese working class, and at the same time the vanguard of the Chinese people and the Chinese nation, adhering to the basic viewpoint of historical materialism and taking the interests of the people as its own value pursuit. Being born for the people, thriving because of the people, always being with the people, and fighting for the interests of the people are the fundamental starting point and foothold of our party's building of the party, the rejuvenation of the party, and the strengthening of the party. Comrade Mao Tse-tung pointed out: "Another distinctive mark that distinguishes us Communists from any other political party is the closest contact with the broadest masses of the people. Facts in ancient and modern China and abroad have repeatedly proved that whether a political party can gain political power, or whether it can govern for a long time after it has taken power, ultimately depends on the will of the people. Anyone who loses the support of the people will sooner or later collapse. The Communist Party of China is inseparable from the Chinese people, precisely because generation after generation of Chinese Communists have adhered to the materialist view of history, closely relied on the people, never separated from the people for a moment, and have an unbreakable relationship with each other.

The right choice made by the people

Everything is for the people, everything depends on the people

Everything is for the people, everything depends on the people, and the two complement each other and are dialectically unified. The well-being and interests of the people are the fundamental purpose of all work. At the same time, to enhance the well-being of the people and safeguard the interests of the people, it is necessary to give full play to the enthusiasm, initiative and creativity of the broad masses of the people and gather a strong joint force. Judging from the logic of practice, the dialectical unity of everything for the people and everything that relies on the people profoundly embodies the people-centered development thinking and is also an important embodiment of the inseparability of the CPC from the Chinese people.

Realize the people's yearning for a better life

The people's yearning and expectation for a better life exist objectively. As Marx pointed out, "Everything that people strive for is related to their interests." The Communist Party of China adheres to Marxism and upholds and develops socialism with Chinese characteristics because only Marxism and socialism with Chinese characteristics can continuously enable the Chinese people to live a good life.

After more than 40 years of reform and opening up, China's social productive forces, comprehensive national strength, and people's living standards have achieved a historic leap forward, the people's yearning for a better life has become more intense, and the needs of the people have shown the characteristics of diversification, multi-level and multi-faceted. At the same time, the main contradiction in our society has been transformed into a contradiction between the people's growing need for a better life and unbalanced and inadequate development. A better life means a higher quality of life, and it also means that we must further improve the well-being of the people and promote the common prosperity of all people.
