The Communist Party of China is inseparable from the Chinese people

On October 1, 1949, the founding ceremony of the People's Republic of China, when the marching masses shouted "Long live the People's Republic" and "Long live Chairman Mao" as they walked down Chang'an Avenue, Mao Zedong's response from the upper floor of Tiananmen Square was to shout "Long live the people" and "Long live the comrades." This interactive scene is the real and symbolic relationship between Chinese and the Chinese Communist Party.

On March 22, 2019, Fico, speaker of the Italian House of Representatives, asked a question to visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping: "What kind of mood did you feel when you were elected president of China? Xi Jinping's answer was: "I will live up to the people without myself." "The words are concise and profound, pointing out the spiritual core of the Chinese Communists - serving the people." Nearly a hundred years since the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Party and the people have long been inseparable like flesh and blood, fish and water, seeds and land. As long as we have a deep understanding of China's modern and contemporary history and as long as we compare China's yesterday and today without prejudice, we can understand the historical and practical implications of "without the Communist Party there would be no new China" and "without the Communist Party there would be no great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation," and we can understand the close relations between the Communist Party of China and the people and its leading position, which is the common choice of all Chinese people, including all democratic parties, all groups, all nationalities, all strata, and people from all walks of life.

Being born for the people and thriving on the people is the fundamental reason why the CPC has stood out from the torrent of history.

To correctly understand the leadership position of the Communist Party of China, we should start from the history of China after 1840. The Chinese civilization has lasted for more than 5,000 years, and the Chinese people have made indelible contributions to the progress of human civilization with extraordinary creativity. However, after the Opium War, due to the aggression of the great powers and the decay of feudal rule, the Western invaders once "erected a few cannons on a coast in the East to occupy a country", and the Chinese people fell into a deep disaster under the bottomless plunder and bullying of the imperialist powers. In order to change this fate, the Chinese people fought countless times, but from the Taiping Rebellion, the Foreign Affairs Movement, the Penghu Reform Law to the Xinhai Revolution, all ended in failure. In order to save the people and survive, in the early 20th century, more than 300 organizations with the nature of political parties appeared on the land of China, and various ideological trends in the West were tried, and various political systems such as constitutional monarchy, feudal imperialism, presidential system, cabinet system, parliamentary system, and multi-party system appeared one after another, but they could not solve the problem of Chinese people seeking national freedom and independent liberation. It was not until the communist party was born in China that the fate of the Chinese people and the Chinese nation began to be reversed. The Communist Party of China, with its original intention and mission of seeking happiness for the Chinese the people and seeking rejuvenation for the Chinese nation, has taken deep root in the people and opened up the right path on earth that relies on the people to push history forward. The Communist Party of China has always adhered Chinese to the people's stand, is the vanguard of the Chinese working class, and is the vanguard of the Chinese people and the Chinese nation. Li Dazhao, one of the founders of the Communist Party of China, once described the nature of the party this way: "It is not a political party organized by politicians, nor a middle-class Democratic Party, but a party of civilian laborers." Chen Duxiu, another founder, also wrote: "I think that the foundation of the Communist Party is built on the proletariat, and in theory, it is naturally better than the party whose foundation is built on the propertied class with gold power." The Chinese Communist Party has not only stated this in theory, but also acted in practice. Peng Pan, the party's early leader of the peasant movement, burned off his family's land deeds worth nearly 4 million yuan and gave the land to local farmers free of charge. During the most difficult long march, three female Red Army soldiers cut off half of the only quilt and distributed it to the people. When the Chinese nation was faced with the crisis of japanese aggression and the extinction of the country, the Communist Party of China most firmly issued a call to resist Japan and save the country, and supported the hope of the whole nation with excellent political leadership and correct strategic decision-making. After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan, China faced a final decisive battle with two futures and two destinies, and although the Kuomintang had the superiority in weapons and equipment and the support of the United States, it had long lost the hearts of the people because of its dictatorship and degeneration and corruption. The aspirations of the people and the expectations of the people have long been attributed to the Communist Party of China and the ranks led by it. The political, economic, and social program of the Communist Party has been highly recognized by the Chinese people, and even the democratic parties, which have always regarded themselves as centrists, have sobered up from the illusion of "parliamentary politics and party politics in Britain and the United States" under the reality of the Kuomintang's white terror, and realized that "there is absolutely no room for neutrality" in the struggle between the people and the anti-people. In January 1949, Li Jishen, Shen Junru, and 55 other democrats arrived in the Liberated Areas and issued a statement that they were willing to dedicate their modesty and implement it throughout under the leadership of the CPC, so as to hope for the rapid success of the democratic revolution of the Chinese and the early realization of an independent, free, peaceful, and happy China." On October 1, 1949, the Communist Party of China finally led the Chinese people out of a century of humiliation and won independence and freedom, and Chinese people chose the Chinese Communist Party as the core force to lead them.

Conforming to the will of the people and responding to the expectations of the people is a clear theme that runs through the course of the CPC's ruling process.

The ruling goal of the Communist Party of China is both grand and simple, and the ultimate goal of her is to realize communism, the noblest ideal of mankind, and every practical policy of simplicity in her is to start from making the people's life better and better, no matter how much challenge and pressure they face, no matter how much sacrifice and price they pay, this point is unswerving and unwavering. At the beginning of the founding of New China, Mao Zedong proposed that "we must let history prove that we can not only lead the revolutionary war well, but also lead the economic construction in peacetime and let the people of the whole country live a good life." To this end, the Communist Party of China resolutely wants to be together, work together, and unite with the working people, who constitute the overwhelming majority of the population, to quickly heal the wounds of war, to restore the national economy, to carry out construction in a steaming manner, to creatively complete the transformation from the new-democratic revolution to the socialist revolution, and to enable China, a large country in the East, which accounts for a quarter of the world's population, to enter socialist society. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the people of the whole country have worked hard to establish an independent and relatively complete industrial system and national economic system under extremely difficult conditions. At the same time, the party has united and led the people to create a great system, established and consolidated and developed a set of socialist political systems with distinct Chinese characteristics, such as the state system of the people's democratic dictatorship led by the working class and based on the alliance of workers and peasants, the political system of the people's congress system, the system of multi-party cooperation and political consultation under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the system of regional autonomy for ethnic minorities, and the system of autonomy for the masses at the grass-roots level, so as to ensure that the people are always the masters of the country. In the new period of reform and opening up, the CPC has persistently regarded the people's support or disapproval, approval or disapproval, happiness or displeasure, and acceptance or disapproval as the starting point and foothold for formulating principles and policies and making policy decisions; it has given full play to the enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity of the broad masses of the people; it has united and led the people of all nationalities to open up the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics; it has found a broad road for the contemporary Chinese people to catch up with the times in great strides and lead the development of the times; and it has created a rapid economic development that will impress the world. A miracle of long-term social stability. Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has closely relied on the people, promoted the cause of the Party and the country to achieve historic achievements and historic changes, and promoted socialism with Chinese characteristics into a new era. General Secretary Xi Jinping solemnly declared, "The people's yearning for a better life is our goal." The Communist Party of China adheres to the people-centered development ideology and regards the resolution of the contradiction between the people's growing need for a better life and unbalanced and inadequate development as the focus and foothold of its work. Adhere to the principle of "what the people care about and expect, what the reform must grasp and promote", launch the battle against poverty and pollution prevention and control, establish the world's largest education system, housing security system, and basic medical security system, persist in carrying out the anti-corruption struggle to the end, let the people share the fruits of economic, political, cultural, social, ecological and other aspects of development, have more, more direct and more tangible sense of gain, happiness and security, and constantly promote the all-round development of the people and the common prosperity of all the people.

Everything for the people and relying on the people is the source of strength for the CPC to lead the Chinese people to realize national rejuvenation.

Today, China is closer to and more confident and capable of realizing the dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation than at any time in history. However, there will inevitably be all kinds of thorns and bumps and chaotic clouds on the way forward. The more arduous the task, the more we must uphold the leadership of the Communist Party of China and the more we must always maintain the flesh-and-blood ties between the Party and the people. As General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out, "As long as our party always governs for the people and relies on the people to govern, it will be invincible."

The leadership of the Party is the mainstay and the needle of the sea god. In a big country like China, without a unified and strong leadership, it will only fall apart and achieve nothing. An important reason why Japanese militarism dared to launch an all-out war of aggression against China was that China was for a long time in a situation of fragmented political affairs and scattered sand. In the current era of globalization, the great practice of the party leadership Chinese people in fighting the new crown pneumonia epidemic has once again proved that the leadership of the Communist Party of China is the fundamental guarantee for the prosperity and development of the country and the people, and the happiness and well-being of the people, and is the most trusted backbone and fixed star of Chinese the people when the wind and rain strike.
