• Shigeru Mizuki, formerly known as Shigeru Takera, was born in 1922 in Sakaiminato, Tottori Prefecture, Japan. The new generation of comic book fans may not know much about him, but the stories and characters he creates have really influenced generations of comic book people. Shigeru Mizuki is the first person in Japanese ghost manga, the ancestor of the weird talk genre, one of the oldest manga artists, and the original author of the generation of manga classics "Kitaro".
• Demon King was released as a manga version in 1963, made into a TV anime in 1989, and now after more than 30 years, a new anime (movie) will be produced again.
